It has very long history but frequently work on it start in 18 th century. Now researchers are able to perform transplant easily and successfully. Take organ from donor that may be living or deceased. But the problem that matters a lot is that donor compatibility must be matched with the recipient. And the match occurs in very rare chances because perfect match found in identical twins. Rejection is a major problem for organ transplantation, but researchers control this problem by using specific type of drug name immunosuppressant that suppresses the immune response. Long term uses of immune suppressant also cause many diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure etc.","PeriodicalId":93190,"journal":{"name":"International journal of cell science & molecular biology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47741574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike many anesthetics, ketamine usually stimulates cardiovascular function in normal animals, causing increase in heart rate (HR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP). The use of ketamine as a sole anesthetic has been limited by muscle hypertonicity and myoclonus, violent recovery and occasional occurrence of convulsions [1]. Ketamine is combined with an alpha-2-agonist (e.g. xylazine), a benzodiazepine (e.g. diazepam) or a phenothiazine tranquillizer (e.g. acepromazine) to enhance muscle relaxation, analgesia, to prevent seizures/convulsions and prolong the duration of anesthetic effect. It is associated with a rapid onset, good to excellent sedation of one to two hours duration, excellent analgesia and smooth recovery. The analgesia and sedation are due to central nervous system depression and the muscle relaxation is due to the central inhibition of intraneural transmission [2]. Ketamine is poor in visceral analgesia. However, it can be used in combination with xylazine or diazepam to provide good visceral analgesia in case of abdominal surgery (including ovariohysterectomy) and thoracic surgery. Pain is an unpleasant sensory or emotional experience most commonly associated with potential tissue damage. The sensation of pain is a consequence of the activation of specialized receptors and neurological pathways after such pain stimuli [3,4]. Xylazine, an alpha-2 agonist used in animal experiments, stimulates alpha-2 adrenergic receptor in cerebral presynaptic nerve ends, inhibits release of catecholamines and dopamine resulting in analgesic and sedative eff ects, and hinders nerve conduction in the central nervous system leading to relaxation of striated muscles. Xylazine is usually used in combination with ketamine during anesthetic applications [5].","PeriodicalId":93190,"journal":{"name":"International journal of cell science & molecular biology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45884268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the sixth most common cancer, approximately 3% of the total cancer burden and results in 128,000 annual deaths globally [1,2]. The most common type of oral cancer is oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), which accounts 90% of all oral cancer cases. Patients with OSCC are often diagnosed at a late stage, thus high recurrence rate occurs after treatment, especially in those with neck lymph node metastasis [3]. Despite clinical and treatment advances, the overall 5-year survival rates for oral cancer remains low and stagnant during past few decades [4,5]. Although OSCC is commonly diagnosed through oral examination followed by histopathology and computed tomography/positron emission tomography scanning, there has been continuous interest in developing serum protein biomarkers to aid the diagnosis. Tumor antigens are promising diagnostic biomarkers for human cancers showing the clinical utility of tumor antigens, such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), CA-50, CA19-9 and squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA) for OSCC detection [6-9].","PeriodicalId":93190,"journal":{"name":"International journal of cell science & molecular biology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47081064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, in a Persian version of the Old Testament (Genesis 18:8), it states “Abraham owed his longevity to the consumption of sour milk. Replacing in-feed antibiotics with non-antibiotic alternatives is, therefore, an ever-increasing necessity. However, the withdrawal of all growth promoting factors is not a simple matter since this will not only affect feed efficiency but will also increase the mortality and morbidity of animals [1]. Sporeformers are capable of growth and metabolic activity only when in the vegetative state, and resort to sporulation when conditions of inadequate nutrition or other challenge to survival is experienced [2]. Currently, there is no universalclass of probiotic bacterium although the most common types available are lactic acid bacteria (e.g., Lactobacillus spp.). These bacteria are found normally in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) of humans and animals and there is the vague notion that the use of indigenous or commensal microorganisms is somehow restoring the natural microflora to the gut. A second class comprises those that are not normally found in the GIT. For example, Saccharomyces boulardii has been shown to be effective in preventing the recurrence of Clostridium difficile-induced pseudo membranous colitis [3] as well as the antagonistic action of Escherichia coli [4]. S. boulardii products are currently being marketed for human use. Within this group of allochthonous probiotic microbes are the sporeforming bacteria, normally members of the genus Bacillus. Here, the product is used in the spore form and thus can be stored indefinitely on the shelf. The use of spore-based products raises a number of questions though. Since the bacterial species being used are not considered resident members of the gastrointestinal microflora how do they exert a beneficial effect? Because the natural life cycle of Initial efforts to document a physiological impact of probiotic bacteria often focus on the following three criteria:","PeriodicalId":93190,"journal":{"name":"International journal of cell science & molecular biology","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47401930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
