The qualification of rotor winding is one of the core factors for the proper functioning of the rotor, which is still detected by manual operation. Hence, it is important to achieve automatic detection of the rotor windings and enhance the detection accuracy. Recently, convolutional neural network (CNN) has been successfully applied to image recognition., but it requires a large number of labeled samples and there is almost no dataset bias between the target dataset and the source dataset. The challenges of using CNN to recognize rotor winding are that the winding image dataset of different types of rotor exist large dataset bias and the labeled examples are limited. We proposed a new model-based transfer learning method to deal with the challenges. To solve the dataset bias problem., we proposed a new image binarization method to get binary rotor winding images. Using the binary images to train and test model can significantly reduce the interference of dataset bias. Meanwhile., we proposed a method to build model-based transfer learning model which is based on the pre-trained Inception-V3 model trained with the ImageNet dataset., the method is used to solve the problem of limited labeled samples. The comparing experiments show that the model-based transfer learning model trained and tested with binary images significantly outperform existing other models., and can achieve stable and accurate detection of the rotor images.","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering. In order to determine the thermal boundary condition of tongue in closed mouth, a convection heat transfer model of the air in oral cavity under closed state was established. Using the measured temperature on the surface of tongue and oral cavity as the constant temperature boundary conditions, the heat exchange between the air and the tongue in closed oral cavity was simulated. The convective heat transfer coefficient on the surface of human tongue and the average temperature of the air in oral cavity were determined. Results showed that the average heat transfer coefficient ranges from 2 W/m2-K to 3W/m2-K and the average temperature ranges from 307.5 K to 308.5 K in the oral cavity. The results provided a reference for the analysis about the heat transfer of human tongue.","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering. Leveraging on the cloud computing services, a hybrid network emulation platform integrating virtual and physical networks is proposed in this paper. With cloud services, heterogeneous and scalable virtual networks can be built. By accessing physical networks, the whole platform will be improved with high precision. Software defined network (SDN) switch is applied in the platform. With its OpenFlow protocol, packet flows can be controlled with flexibility to support transparent network emulation. Meanwhile, SDN switches cooperate with physical switches to provide the platform with experiments isolation and reconfigurability. The attributes of any virtual-physical link are also considered to emulate real networks with latency, bandwidth and loss rate. Extensive experiments proved that the proposed platform is capable to emulate networks with scalability, transparency, and can further support multiple experiments isolation.","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering. This silver jubilee has seen several first times for ICPC. It is for the very first time that ICPC has been organised in South America, in Argentina, in Buenos Aires. Moreover, it is also for the first time that the main track of ICPC crossed the line of 80 submissions. This year the program committee has received 83 submissions originating from 97 abstracts and co-authored by researchers from 26 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America and Oceania. This is more than double of the 39 submissions received back in 2000.1 Finally, for the very first time in the history of ICPC we have implemented the triple-blind reviewing process: the authors do not know who is reviewing their work (single), the reviewers do not know whose work they review (double), and the reviewers do not know who the other reviewers are (triple).","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering. They are used to automate tasks of the software development lifecycle, such as compiling code, assembling artifacts, generating documentation, testing artifacts, and deploying artifacts. Although they play an important role in software development, research has ignored this field for a long time. Recent research, such as [9], started to investigate build systems as a component of the software development lifecycle. Kumpfert et al. observed that using a build system decreases the workload of developers but its usage also adds additional overhead for maintaining the build configuration [7]. Seo et al. addressed this issue and found that neglected maintenance of the build configuration is one of the most frequent reasons for breaking a build [10]. Kerzazi et al. found that suffering from build breakage blocks development teams from continuing their work and consequently costs the companies money [6]. Moreover, Seo et al. and Kerzazi et al. investigated the number of failing builds and obvserved a high ratio of build breakage (28.5% and 17.7%, respectively).","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering. Debugging the massive parallel computations that run in today's data-centers is time consuming and error-prone. To address this challenge, we design a set of interactive, real-time debugging primitives for big data processing in Apache Spark, the next generation data-intensive scalable cloud computing platform. This requires re-thinking the notion of step-through debugging in a traditional debugger such as gdb, because pausing the entire computation across distributed worker nodes causes significant delay and naively inspecting millions of records using a watchpoint is too time consuming for an end user. First, BIGDEBUG's simulated breakpoints and on-demand watchpoints allow users to selectively examine distributed, intermediate data on the cloud with little overhead. Second, a user can also pinpoint a crash-inducing record and selectively resume relevant sub-computations after a quick fix. Third, a user can determine the root causes of errors (or delays) at the level of individual records through a fine-grained data provenance capability. Our evaluation shows that BIGDEBUG scales to terabytes and its record-level tracing incurs less than 25% overhead on average. It determines crash culprits orders of magnitude more accurately and provides up to 100% time saving compared to the baseline replay debugger. The results show that BIGDEBUG supports debugging at interactive speeds with minimal performance impact.</p>","PeriodicalId":91595,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings - International Conference on Software Engineering.
