Among these, the half-bridge voltage-doubler boost converter have been considered an interesting choice for single-phase low-cost high power applications such as motor drives, because of its simple structure and high voltage DC bus. Several works have presented important issues on the operation of this converter. However, there is still few information regarding the converter and feedback loop design. The purpose of this work is to provide a methodology for the development of the converter and its feedback loop control system. The converter model and the development of the controllers are based on PWM switch model associated to the method of gain margin and phase margin. The influence of the circuit parameter variations and of the switching strategies on the development of compensators is shown. Performance considerations, such as the output power, input power factor and harmonic distortion (THD%), are discussed in the final paper.","PeriodicalId":89658,"journal":{"name":"Australasian emergency nursing journal : AENJ","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2003-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75163063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
