Many drugs such as Viagra (a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor (PDE5)) are readily available in the market, but they are usually accompanied with numerous side effects such as headache, dizziness and vision problem. More so these drugs only offer short term remedy. Hence the need of finding a new remedy to arrest theseissues. In this study we utilized Schrodinger suite as the computational tool to screen about 2,000 compounds using PDE5 as target protein. Out of the 2,000 compounds screened, 6 leads compounds were found to be more potent compared toviagra based on binding affinity, with compound 6 and compound 4 exhibiting highest inhibitory attributes attaining docking score of -14.819 kcal/mol and -13.965 kcal/mol respectively. The hit molecules were further screened for ADME profiles. The outcome of this study revealed that several of the lead compounds are worth considering for further analysis.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"19 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81853186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the process to make this classification, a lot of work is necessary to analyze the results from the cluster analysis and obtain the minimal parameters that define a specific group that can be classified as treatment target. Also is presented the algorithm called Custom-clustering to solve this problem.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"56 1","pages":"1-3"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90985871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dealing with frequently emerging crises may need rapid integration of scattered heterogeneous resources into capable operational forces pursuing goals which may not be known in advance. Proper understanding and managing of unpredictable and crisis situations may need their detailed simulation at runtime and even ahead of it. The current paper aims at deep integration, actually symbiosis, of advanced simulation with live system control and management, which can be effectively organized in nationwide and world scale. It will be presenting the latest version of Spatial Grasp Technology (SGT) which is not based on traditional communicating parts or agents, as usual, but rather using self-spreading, self-replicating, and self-modifying higher-level code covering and matching distributed systems at runtime while providing global integrity, goal-orientation, and finding effective solutions. These spatial solutions are often hundreds of times shorter and simpler than with other approaches due to special recursive scenario language hiding traditional system management routines inside its parallel and distributed interpretation. The paper provides basics for deep integration, actually symbiosis, of different worlds allowing us to unite advanced distributed simulation with spatial parallel and fully distributed control, while doing all this within the same high-level and very simple Spatial Grasp formalism and its basic Spatial Grasp Language (SGL). It will also mention various SGT applications including economy, ecology, space research & conquest and security, where effective symbiosis of distributed interactive simulation with live control and management may provide a real breakthrough. SGL can be quickly implemented even within standard university environments by a group of system programmers, similar to its previous versions in different countries under the author’s supervision. The technology can be installed in numerous copies worldwide and deeply integrated with any other systems, actually acquiring unlimited power throughout the world.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"30 1","pages":"1-13"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73538862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Inhibitions of these enzymes have emerged as promising target for the management of neurological disorders. In the present study, cholinesterase (acetylcholinesterase (Ache) and butyrylcholinesterase (Bche)) and MOA inhibition potential of secondary metabolites from sorghum stem was elucidated using Glide (Schrodinger maestro 2017-1). The results showed that, the phyto-constituents from sorghum stem binds with higher affinity and lower free energy compared to the standard ligand with quercetin, kaempferol and catechin having glide score of -11.667, -10.599 and -10.535 respectively against Ache. Rutin, quercitrin and chlorogenic acid showed glide score of -12.643, -10.124 and -9.043 against Bche while epicatech, quercetin and kaempferol showed glide score of -10.424, -9.830 and -9.804 against monoamine oxidase. Quercetin has lower glide score against the three enzymes compared to prostigmine (standard ligand). These secondary metabolites provide evidence as small molecules in management of neurodegenerative disorders.","PeriodicalId":88542,"journal":{"name":"Journal of computer science and systems biology","volume":"40 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88226417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
