In order to obtain the powders, date variety of H’loua was washed, cut into small particles, and then dried at 90 °C during 2 h. Seven steamed yoghurts were manufactured: control prepared by 80 g/L sucrose, yoghurts manufactured by replacement of some quantity of sucrose by 10, 20 and 25 g/L of the date powder and yoghurts prepared by replacement of some quantity of sucrose by 60, 70 and equal quantity 80 g/L of date flesh. All samples were analyzed for some physicochemical, biochemical, microbiological and sensory characteristics at 1, 7, 15, 21 and 29 days of storage. The total or partial replacement of the sucrose by date flesh and date powder improves the nutritional quality of the yoghurts such as proteins, fat, ash, and dry mater, but the level of the total sugars was decreased. Results of microbiological analyze showed complete absence of the total and fecal coliforms, Staphylococcus aureus, faecal streptococci and Salmonella in all yoghurts prepared and throughout the storage period. Replacement of the sucrose by all types of date improves the sensory characteristics of the yoghurts included taste and texture. Traditionally, sugar beet long snout weevil, Lixus incanescens Boh. (Col.: Curculionidae), is one of the serious pests causing sugar beet losses. In the present study, antixenosis resistance was evaluated in 11 varieties of sugar beet including Pars, Torbat, Ekbatan, SBSI019, Rizofort, Puma, Dorothea, Brigita, Pecora, Nagano and Jolgehin a field trial from 2013 and 2014 years in Qazvin province, Iran. A randomized complete block design with their replications was used. The results showed that in both years, in the first 24 h experiment after release the lowest and highest densities of pest (No. adult/plant) were seen on Pars (2.99) and Dorothea (2.83) varieties, respectively, as opposed the lowest antixenosis resistance were found on Brigita (8.66) and Nagano (8.83) cultivar, whereas on other cultivars showed intermediate values. In Pars, Brigita and Nagano varieties the number of adult weevils (adult/plant) increased rapidly during the first 24 h, but after which there was a decline to the minimum on about the fifth day. The results of data analysis to investigate the mechanism of free choice antixenosis in the years 2013 and 2014 showed that there are no significant differences between experimental blocks and among cultivars tested. As a result, our findings showed that above mention variety can be used in integrated management plans of sugar beet long snout weevil, and with regionally adapted varieties and excellent seed quality we strive for excellent varietal performance in all growing regions of the Iran. This study investigated the effects of electromagnetic field radiated from mobile phones with frequency between 500 to 900 MHz on some biochemical parameters in 60 swiss albino mice which divided in three groups (one control and two tests). Test groups were exposed to electromagnetic wave twice a day for 20 and 40 days. Blood samples were prepared from heart and Total Protein, Albumin, Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatinine Phosphokinase (CPK), Cholesterol, Creatinine, Glucose, Alanin Amino Transferase (ALT), Aspartate Amino Transferase (AST), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), Amylase, Lipase, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), T 3 and Tyroxin (T 4) were measured and statistically analysied. According to the results, long time electromagnetic field radiation caused a significant decrease in serum creatinine, glucose, total protein, albumine, cholesterol, T 4 and body weight. The amount of Serum BUN, CPK, ALP, ALT, AST, TSH and T 3 significantly increased. It is found as an endemic disease in many parts of the world, especially in the Middle East, Central Asian, and South American countries. The objective of this study was to prepare alginate microparticle containing conjugate of Brucella melitensis 16 M oligopolysaccharide (OPS) with tetanus toxoid, and to assess its immunogenicity in mouse, in order to find a new method of confronting brucellosis. In this study, we extracted OPS from lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and conjugated it with tetanus toxoid by amidation method. Then, the obtained conjugate was condensed by gel filtration, followed by emulcification method in iso–octane organic phase to prepare alginate microparticles containing the conjugate. In our study, sera titr of antibodies IgM, IgA, IgG2a, IgG1, IgG2b, IgG3, and total IgG generated against oligopolysaccharide was performed by ELISA test. The final results, considering the obtained immunogenicity and the increased titer of antibodies IgG1 (19 times), IgG3 (19 times), IgG (15 times), and IgM (9 times) after injection of produced microparticle in mouse indicates appropriateness of the produced microparticle as a candidate vaccine. Thus, it could be concluded that alginate microparticles containing conjugates of B.melitensis 16 M oligopolysaccharide with tetanus toxoid can be proposed as a candidate anti– brucellosis vaccine. One of the advantages of chloroplast engineering is the entrance of targeted gene in to a specific region of the chloroplast genome. Due to advantage of this method than nuclear genetic engineering, it is one of the safest ways for the production of recombinant biopharmaceuticals, vaccines etc ., in the plants. This is done due to the presence of homologous sequences from chloroplast genome of host plant on both sides of the gene cassette and the occurrence of homologous recombination. In this research, cloning of ndhB–rps7 fragment was considered from lettuce chloroplast genome as flanking regions. The designing of specific primers for amplification of these regions was done by Primer 3 and Oligo Analyzer softwares. After total genomic DNA extraction, PCR amplification of fragment was done and cloning of this fragment was carried out by T/A procedure in to p TG19–T vector. The recombinant plasmids were sent to Genefanavaran co for sequencing and determining the restriction sites in the cloned fragment. The validation of ndhB–rps7 fragment was confirmed with the lettuce 1380 bp through the ‘BLAST’ software.
