Structural changes that were initiated have influenced an increasingly widespread scientific and research debate on globalization and transitional processes, which remains relevant to this date. In contrast to the prevalent affirmative views on globalization processes in the first decade of the 21st century, the second decade was, in terms of these discussions, characterized more by critically-minded debates on the consequences of globalization. Within these debates as a \"loyal companion\" of the notion of globalization, the notion of sovereignty is often used, especially in that \"post-historical\" context of the weakening of the state as an institution. Given that these debates continue to be considerably present within domestic social sciences and humanities research platforms, it seems that the multidisciplinary approach to these concepts could shed additional light on their nature and point out to the possible inconsistencies and inadequate use. Therefore, in the focus of the analysis is the problem of the relation between the concepts of sovereignty and globalization, which is observed both with reference to different concepts in the theoretical, constitutional and international legal doctrine, and to the already existing tendencies in domestic sociological, economic and political debates.","PeriodicalId":85157,"journal":{"name":"Migracijske teme","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90872985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regardless of the normative framework, both international and national, which largely protects the rights of this sensitive group of people, a significant number of cases before the European Court of Human Rights and decisions in which Contracting States are declared responsible indicate that there is a problem of their procedural position that is principally conditioned by applying (or not applying) the procedural safeguards provided by Article 6 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, or the right to a fair trial. Although this right is guaranteed for all civil and criminal procedures and for all persons, the special features of persons with mental disabilities also determine the particularities in the application of the right to a fair trial in the court procedures in which these persons are involved. Therefore, we could talk about formulated specific standards that essentially elaborate one of the key concepts of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - \"reasonable adaptation\", as well as a direct link to the need for a specific application of the already mentioned Article 6 of the European Convention. The standards that follow from the application of Article 6 are numerous and the analysis of all from the aspect of protecting the rights of persons with mental disabilities is not possible in the paper of this volume, and therefore, special attention was given to the right of these persons to initiate and conduct the procedures for deprivation of legal capacity, personal participation and representation in that procedures.","PeriodicalId":85157,"journal":{"name":"Migracijske teme","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74703406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accordingly, this paper aims to determine the extent to which consumption of local food, local beverage and experience of food culture contributes to the explanation of assessment of destination in urban centres. The paper is based on empirical research carried out amongst 804 foreign tourists who visited city centres of Belgrade and Novi Sad (Serbia) in 2017.The obtained results were examined via hierarchical regressive analysis. The findings demonstrate that the consumption of local food, local beverage and the experience of food culture in each of these assumptions represent a significant contribution. Analysis of the findings revealed that the development of tourism product has multiple contributions in a tourist destination and possibilities for the development of local economy. It is concluded in the paper that local food, local beverage, and food culture are important elements of the tourism product.","PeriodicalId":85157,"journal":{"name":"Migracijske teme","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87193954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Companies in tourism tend to reduce the number of dissatisfied and unprofitable customers. The subject of research in the paper is the analysis of the influence of certain factors on the tendency of customers to appeal to tourist agencies and, consequently, to their loyalty.The aim of the research is to examine whether and to what extent the sociodemographic characteristics influence the decision of the customers to file complaints with the agency in case of dissatisfaction with the service. Particular emphasis is on the analysis of the influence of certain relational factors (such as the level of customer confidence, image of the agency and the effectiveness of the complaint management process) on the tendency of customers to appeal and to increasing their satisfaction and loyalty to a particular agency. The importance of research is also in providing guidance to both tourist agencies and other companies in the field of tourism, improving customer relationships and improving the quality of the service process through effective customer complaint management.","PeriodicalId":85157,"journal":{"name":"Migracijske teme","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89724936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The subject of the research is the analysis of relationship between students’ personality traits and their intention to start their own business, as well as the existence of a difference in entrepreneurial intent, depending on gender and chosen study program attended by the student. For this purpose, an empirical research was conducted on a sample of 517 final year students at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad. The research hypotheses were tested using the Spearman's correlation and the non-parametric Mann-Whitney test within the SPSS 20.0 program. Empirical results highlight the existence of a statistically significant correlation between personality traits such as need for achievement and need for independence on one hand and the inclination of students to start their own business on the other. Also, there is a statistically significant difference between students of different genders and study orientation and their entrepreneurial intentions. The male students and those attending the Department of Management are more oriented towards implementation of entrepreneurial activities in some period of life in comparison to female students and students who attend other study programs. The set research framework points to further guidance in encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit, as well as the key drivers for a higher level of entrepreneurial intention of students after graduating from the Faculty of Economics.","PeriodicalId":85157,"journal":{"name":"Migracijske teme","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86058313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
