Factors that affect the frequency of children getting sick are the tropics, where tropical areas like Indonesia are good for germs to breed, for example flu, malaria, dengue fever, and diarrhea. These various diseases are usually more prevalent in the transitional season. High fever can cause seizures which in this case are called febrile seizures. A febrile seizure is an emergency in children that must be treated immediately. One of the first aids is with a warm tepid sponge compress. The method used is health education with lectures, group discussions and workshops on tepid sponge compresses. As for what has been done: (1) draw up an activity plan, implementation schedule, technical instructions, supporting facilities and media, (2) hold training on tepid sponge compresses. After training, workshops, and mentoring were held, posyandu cadres and women of childbearing age at Posyandu partners in Wirowongso Village, 80% had knowledge of the Tepid Sponge Good compress and 20% had sufficient knowledge while those who had less knowledge did not exist. Women of childbearing age before and after training, workshops, and mentoring with a p value of 0.003. This shows that the knowledge of Posyandu cadres and women of childbearing age has been able to provide an analysis of the fever problems experienced by children and how to prevent and early management of the problems experienced. The psychomotor abilities of posyandu cadres and women of childbearing age at the Posyandu partners in Wirowongso Village in doing the Tepid Sponge compress are good and able to do it correctly.","PeriodicalId":85029,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Community Development Society","volume":"174 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75301507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The company is located in Banjar Dinas Bengkel, West Selemadeg, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Through previous research, this effort uses a lamination technique to avoid powder lice, which is the main enemy of bamboo. Laminate itself is a transparent layer and is useful for protecting bamboo so that it is resistant to water, dust mites, and sunlight. A number of products that have been made by this business include chairs, tables and parquet from laminated bamboo. However, this company has problems selling its products. In addition, the management of financial transactions related to the company is still not structured so that the company's profit and loss is not clear. This community service activity aims to overcome partner problems, namely by providing a website as a promotional and educational media about laminated bamboo, providing website management training, and providing training to manage company finances using Microsoft Excel. Learning from home has several limitations so that the Government of Indonesia through the Indonesian Ministry of Education allows the school learning process offline or face-to-face. This requires readiness from schools in implementing health protocols in a disciplined manner to reduce the risk of transmission of covid 19. Supervision of the enforcement of health protocols will be very difficult if you only rely on health workers. The Hope Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT Harum) Jember will now start limited face-to-face learning in order to fulfill the competence of students. The Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Public Health, University of Jember have a moral responsibility to provide education and health promotion activities to the surrounding community, one of which is basic education institutions. One solution that can be done is to form cadres who are tasked with enforcing the implementation of health protocols in a disciplined manner. Although this group of coffee farmers is considered to be quite good, there are still some weaknesses, namely the process of drying coffee beans is still done manually, namely drying in the sun. The manual drying process is highly dependent on land area, weather, and labor. Meanwhile, the coffee beans that have been harvested must be dried as soon as possible to maintain the quality of the coffee beans. In addition, farmer groups have not utilized information technology optimally. Therefore, this service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the productivity of coffee farming through the design and training of Rotary Dryer and increasing sales of coffee products by expanding the reach of marketing through website creation. The implementation of socialization and training was aimed at members of the Sumber Kembang coffee farmer group located in Karangpring Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. After further training, namely monitoring the results of service activities, this activity needs to be carried out to ensure that the application of technology is actually implemented by the Sumber Kembang farmer group. The method of activity applied in implementing this partnership program is the method of explaining the material about the application and benefits of rotary dryer using a power point, providing tools in the form of rotary dryer, and website training, after which monitoring is carried out. After the service activities have been carried out, farmers are able to operate rotary dryer and can increase market share thereby increasing consumer demand for coffee products from the Sumber Kembang farmer group. This is indicated by data on the increase in consumer demand for coffee products, which is above 25% for each type of product.","PeriodicalId":85029,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Community Development Society","volume":"56 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72390549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the community should be active in implementing new normal adaptation. Forum Kesehatan Kelurahan (FKK) as a forum for community participation in the health sector has an important role in the success of supporting health programs at the village level. Based on research studies, the application of new normal adaptation in Tembalang District by the community hasn’t been optimal. Therefore, the role of FKK in Tembalang District has to adapt new normal from the family. The ability and knowledge of FKK cadres regarding adaptation of new normal must be good in order to have sufficient capacity to support new normal families in Tembalang District. In this case, the capacity building of the FKK carried out through activities to 38 FKK cadres representing each sub-district in Tembalang District. Counseling done by doing pre-test, presenting materials, discussions with participants, and ended by post-test. The results of discussion, the community had made efforts to support the implementation of the new normal, there are education, field operations, reporting of COVID-19 cases, and jogo tonggo. Challenges for FKK are community’s lack awareness of COVID-19 pandemic and health protocols impportance. Post-test result showed increasing number of cadre with good knowledge about New Normal.
