Measurements were made with three different testbeds which represent the 4G (fourth-generation) LTE (long term evolution) SISO (single-input-single-output), 4G LTE MIMO and 5G (fifth-generation) millimetre-wave (mm-wave) MIMO communication systems, respectively, in the small antenna radiated test (SMART) screened fully anechoic chamber, screened control room and reverberation chamber at the UK National Physical Laboratory (NPL). The measurement campaign comprised of automated data acquisition of channel power, downlink (DL) & uplink (UL) error vector magnitude (EVM) and throughput. Since many of these models can be seen as recursive functions, it is extremely important to control the errors in these functions, because small errors introduced in each computational step can grow exponentially due to the sensitivity to initial conditions present in this type of functions. One of the ways to control rounding and truncation errors is through interval arithmetic, since it is not possible to represent all numbers in the computer because of the finite representation in them. Thus, in arithmetic interval a number is represented by an interval in which the true number is within that interval. In this manuscript we developed an algorithm that performs the operations of interval arithmetic using basic functions. We have compared compared our results with the Matlab-toolbox Intlab. The need for electrical machines cannot be overemphasized since they are used in various applications in the world today. Its design is to meet the specifications as stated by the user and this design has to be an economical one. The design, therefore, revolves around designing the machine to meet the stipulated performance required, the cost available and the lasting life of the machine. In this work we capitalize on the idea introduced in [1], i.e. balance the Air-Time of the different modulation spreading factors (SF), and adapt it to operate in a typical metropolitan scenario comprising multiple gateways (GWs) interconnected to a same network server. Our proposed approach, named ADaptive Mitigation of the AIr-time pressure in lORa (AD MAIORA), relies on a suitable measure of the per-spreading-factor load at each GW - quantified by means of a so-called pressure table -, and on a relevant heuristic algorithm which attempts to balance such a per-SF-pressure. The antenna element is designed to integrate the matching circuit into a single layer. Hence no additional matching and feeding networks are required which makes the antenna element very easy to synthesise a massive array. The array has a 10 dB return loss bandwidth between 26 GHz and 32 GHz. The polar angle axial ratio is less than 3 within the beamwidth of -60 degree to 60 degree. During this period, many major destructive earthquake events occurred that caused human casualties and extended material damages. The collection and processing of geoelectric measurements was done by an automated data acquisition system at the Seismological Laboratory of the University of Patras, Greece. This novel study considers seismic activity of this area as a typical linear dynamic system and the dynamic relationship between the magnitude of earthquakes and Long-Term Geoelectric Potential signals is inferred by the Recursive Least Square algorithm.
