Ping, Li Xueyu","doi":"10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00384","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00384","url":null,"abstract":"There are 98 species and 2 varieties in the genus of Oxytropis in Xinjiang,and they account for 67.1% of the total in China.Among them 7 species are endemic in Xinjiang,58 ones are distributed only in Xinjiang in China,and about 65% species belongs to the two of them.Species are all distributed in 11 floristic regions in Xinjiang.The Junggar Basin and the Tianshan Mountains,especially the Tianshan Mountains,are regarded as the areas with the most abundant species of Oxytropis in Xinjiang.So it is concluded that the Junggar Basin and the Tianshan Mountains may be the central areas of modern distribution and origin differentiation of Oxytropis DC.Most species(about 99%) are distributed in the mountainous areas with an altitude range from 1 001 m to 5 000 m a.s.l.,especially in an altitude range from 1 001 m to 4 000 m,and the richest species are distributed in an altitude range from 2 001 m to 3 000 m.There are two kinds of life-forms,hemicryptophyte and chamaephyte,the proportion of the former is as high 96%,but that of the latter is 4% only.The relations of flora in Xinjiang are the closest with that in adjacent Qinghai Province and Tibet Autonomous Region(their similarity coefficients are 28.8% and 28.6% respectively),but not so close with that in Inner Mongolica and Gansu Province.The relations of flora in Xinjiang are the closest with that in Kazakhstan(the similarity coefficient is as high as 65.2%),then with that in west Siberia and Kyrghizstan(the similarity coefficients are 41.8% and 41.0% respectively),and the weakest with that in Mongolica,Tajikistan and Pakistan(their similarity coefficients are 29.2%,22.8% and 11.6% respectively).","PeriodicalId":8385,"journal":{"name":"干旱区研究","volume":"26 1","pages":"384-389"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69821584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Baoquan, Zhao Xiuhai, Lu Peiling","doi":"10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00354","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00354","url":null,"abstract":"Land use/cover change(LUCC) is a key field in the globe change research.Thus,many researches on LUCC have been carried out in recent years.Farming-pasturing ecotone is a special ecological-fragile zone in China,especially in north China.The Ordos Plateau is located in a farming-pasturing ecotone in north China,so the research on LUCC is of significance in revealing the information of environment change.In this paper,the land use maps in 1985,1995,2000 and 2004 are interpreted from Landsat TM images and used to analyze the dynamics in some typical regions in the Ordos Plateau.The results show that the LUCC in the regions was obvious during these periods.Firstly,the only landscape matrix in the study area is grasslands with a vegetation coverage range of 69.29%~82.25%.Secondly,the stability of different land use types is different.The most stable types are grasslands and unused land,their stability is higher than 87%.The changing directions of land use types are as follows: the first one is the change from cropland,unused land and woodlands to grasslands,the second one is that from grasslands to waters and construction land,and the third one is that from construction land to unused land.In order to discuss the spatial and temporal stability of the different LUCC types,the transition probability method is used in this study.If 50% of a LUCC type can be maintained stable in spatiality at different time stages,it is considered that this LUCC type has a high stability.From this viewpoint,it is found that the stability of grasslands is the highest,and then that of unused land and construction land.Thirdly,the reduction of cropland and unused land with the increase of woodlands and grasslands reveals that the environment in the Ordos Plateau has been improved.","PeriodicalId":8385,"journal":{"name":"干旱区研究","volume":"26 1","pages":"354-360"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69821003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Min, Sun Yueqin","doi":"10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00424","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3724/SP.J.1148.2009.00424","url":null,"abstract":"Based on the climatic data observed by 24 meteorological stations in the different climatic regions of Xinjiang during the period of 1971-2006,in this paper the potential evapotranspiration at all the stations are calculated with the Penman-Monteith equation recommended by FAO in 1998,and the change characteristics of potential evapotranspiration in the Tianshan Mountains are compared with that in South Xinjiang and North Xinjiang.The results are mainly as follows:(1) The change trend of potential evapotranspiration in the Tianshan Mountains is similar to that in South Xinjiang and North Xinjiang,but the average value and the linear degression speed of potential evapotranspiration in the Tianshan Mountain are lower and the annual and decadal change is more stable than that in South Xinjiang and North Xinjiang;(2) The cyclical change of annual potential evapotranspiration in the Tianshan Mountains is similar to that in North Xinjiang,and there is a remarkable cycle about 4.5 years,but there is no remarkable cycle less than 36 years in South Xinjiang in recent 36 years;(3) A sudden reduction of potential evapotranspiration occurred in the Tianshan Mountains in 1991,it occurred in South Xinjiang and North Xinjiang in 1988 and 1986 respectively,and it was 3~5 years latter in the Tianshan Mountains than that in South Xinjiang and North Xinjiang;(4) The main spatial distribution characteristics of annual potential evapotranspiration are the synchronous changes in these three regions,but the synchronous change of spatial distribution of annual potential evapotranspiration is the highest in North Xinjiang and the lowest in the Tianshan mountains.The reverse change in the spatial distribution of annual potential evapotranspiration is the highest in the South Xinjiang and the lowest in the Tianshan Mountains;(5) Spatiotemporal difference of climate change is the main factor causing the different change of potential evapotranspiration in different regions.Under the background of reduction of potential evapotranspiration in recent 36 years,wind speed increased,but the precipitation and air relative humidity decreased in the mid-and late-1990s.","PeriodicalId":8385,"journal":{"name":"干旱区研究","volume":"26 1","pages":"424-432"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69822015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
