The calculations demonstrate that high electron mobility, high frequency, and strongly electronic structure modification are obtained at a specific value for slab separation ( z ). z =0.36238, which is equivalent to the insulating separation of 13.85 Å, is preferable for free-to-move carriers, while the spin wave maximum is at z=18 Å. The moment observed in the DOS of the CrI3 layer supports an increase in the surface field, which, in turn, explains the effectiveness of the CrI 3 layer in tunneling applications. The CrI3 Fermi surface contains small electronic pockets derived from the Cr-3d doubly degenerate state at M. The doubly degenerate effective mass 𝒎 ∗ is approximately constant near the bottom of the nearly free electron band, but the triply 𝒎 ∗ increases somewhat at the inflection point by the Cr-3d magnetic field. Depending on the number of d-electrons, the junctions CoMnI3/CrGeTe3, MoI3/CrGeTe3 and WI3/CrGeTe3 are examined. The comparison between CoMnI3, MoI3 and WI3, and CrI3 ensures that the performance of the CrI3 layer is due to the activity of Cr-3d, which provides a unique opportunity to control the junction properties. The DOS shape of the MoI3 layer demonstrates fairly interesting magnetic properties that are nearly similar to those of the CrI3 layer.","PeriodicalId":8110,"journal":{"name":"Arab Journal of Nuclear Sciences and Applications","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43715590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The outcomes of the numerical simulations were compared to the experimental samples computed with Cesium 137 (0.662 MeV) and XCOM program results. Three different nanoparticles mainly nano silica (NS), nano ceramic (NC), and nano metakaolin (NMK), and their hybridization were used in the present research. Slump test, density, water absorption, compressive strength and tensile strength were investigated. Moreover, the scanning electron microscopy technique (SEM), X ray diffraction analysis (XRD) were used to prove the improvement in the microstructure of concrete as a result of the use of NS, NC, NMK, and their hybridization. The results in the present study indicate that the inclusion of single nanomaterials as a replacement of cement improves the mechanical, physical, properties and the linear attenuation coefficient of concrete, while the results of the hybrid nano inclusion showed a slight improvement of the properties of concrete. In addition, the results of the simulation of the linear attenuation coefficient using the Monte Carlo simulation were in good agreement with the experimental and XCOM program results.","PeriodicalId":8110,"journal":{"name":"Arab Journal of Nuclear Sciences and Applications","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48874643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fully stabilized zirconia is an excellent material for manufacturing of solid electrolyte for solid oxide fuel cell. In the present study, high purity zirconia was successfully synthesized from Egyptian zircon. The produced zirconia was subsequently fully stabilized by 10 mol% yttria via mechanical alloying. Mechanical alloying was conducted in a planetary ball mill with; stainless steel milling assembly, at a rotation speed of 350 rpm, and ball to powder weight ratio of 10. The effect of milling time (up to 32 h) on phase transformation was studied. Characterization of the as prepared zirconia and milled samples was conducted by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The obtained results revealed that, the crystal structure of the prepared zirconia is monoclinic. The degree of stabilization and the level of contamination increase gradually with the course of milling. Under the described conditions, the required time for full stabilization was 32 h. The produced powder is nanocrystalline (13.7 nm) with a submicron particle size.","PeriodicalId":8110,"journal":{"name":"Arab Journal of Nuclear Sciences and Applications","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49252535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
