A split-mouth design was employed in all 14 patients, with each patient receiving two mini implants. A PRP-coated mini implant was installed in one quadrant as a trial and a plain mini implant was added in the opposite quadrant to serve as a control. Radiographic evaluation was done at 3, 6, and 9 weeks after implant placement. Radiographic density is measured at five points around the implants, repeatedly. Results showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups of implants. The minimally invasive mini implants successfully maintained integration at the end of 9 weeks. There were no cases of implant failure.
