These data are compared with those reported in the literature for the adult structure. In general, the qualitative disposition of lingual musculature is quite complete by this point in development. The division of the muscle mass, by a central decussation, into an anterior and posterior segment was consistently observed in the specimens studied.","PeriodicalId":76638,"journal":{"name":"The International journal of oral myology","volume":"97 1","pages":"5-8"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1978-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
