There are different types depending on the origin, production procedure and its numerous commercial brandts. They have some features in common: non toxic, biocompatibility, biodegradation, bioresorption and strong bond to the bone and to the soft tissues. Data of fluoridation in Argentina and foreing countries are compilated.
