{"title":"The effect Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (endotoxin) on the graft-versus-host reaction in mice (IV).","authors":"E Skopinska","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Lipopolysaccharide from Escherichia coli (LPS) administered to mice during the graft-versus-host (GvH) reaction in a single dose of 100 mug stimulated the reaction if it was given on the same day as the parental spleen cells, or inhibited it if given four days before injection of the cells. The GvH reaction was intensified when LPS was injected in the dose of 20 mug on the fourth day after injection of the cells. {"title":"Cytoplasmic RNA in the mouse spleen at the peak of primary immune response.","authors":"R Slomski","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Results of studies on the synthesis of different fractions of cytoplasmic RNA in the spleens of immunized mice at the peak of primary immune response are reported. RNA was extracted by the phenol-detergent procedure from the cytoplasm of spleen cells of mice immunized with sheep red blood cells.
