This study aims to describe the position of local wisdom in the midst of modernity. This study uses a case study qualitative approach. Data obtained from primary and secondary sources. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the local wisdom of mutual cooperation in the withdrawal of fishing boats in North Galesong has faded since the entry of modernity contamination. The change in the towing of the ship is based on rational considerations related to the effectiveness of work and respect for other community activities. The towing of ships carried out in mutual cooperation is more costly and time consuming. Towing ships using modern tools such as excavators is more efficient.","PeriodicalId":7395,"journal":{"name":"Akuatikisle: Jurnal Akuakultur, Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78322720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Catfish is one of the fisheries commodities that has good prospects for development. This is supported by the characteristics of catfish, which have high nutritional content, fast growth, are easy to breed, and can be maintained in almost all aquaculture containers. This study examines the flow of catfish marketing and analyses the differences in catfish prices in the Marusu Village, Palantikan Village, Maros Baru District, and Maros Regency. The research method was interviews assisted with a questionnaire instrument. The analysis used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis for marketing channels and farmer's share analysis to measure the efficiency of acceptance of marketing channels for seed and catfish cultivators. The marketing channel for catfish seeds in the Marusu environment consists of 2 channels. Channel 1 starts from cultivators, collectors within the Marusu environment, and outside collectors and ends with cultivators outside the Maros area (consumers), channel 2 starts from cultivators, collectors and cultivators outside the Maros Regency area (consumers). The catfish marketing channel also consists of 2 channels. Channel 1, namely, starts with cultivators, retailers and consumers. Channel 2 is the cultivator directly to the consumer. For catfish fingerlings, farmers in marketing channels 1 and 2 are 75%, respectively. In contrast, the farmer's share in marketing channels 1 and 2 for catfish is 66.67% and 100%.","PeriodicalId":7395,"journal":{"name":"Akuatikisle: Jurnal Akuakultur, Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83569422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study presents a framework for formulating environmental management of small island coastal waters from anthropogenic sources of terrestrial land with a system dynamic approach based on the characteristics of physical environmental factors and oceanography of the waters. The purpose of this research is to formulate a strategy for environmental management of the coastal waters of Tanjungpinang City. The results showed that the total magnitude of the waste load originating from anthropogenic sources on the mainland of Tanjungpinang City was 1,073.98 tons/year. The burden of organic waste in Tanjungpinang City is identified from five sources, namely domestic waste from residential areas, hotel and restaurant waste, the food industry, and the agricultural and livestock sectors. The Tanjungpinang coastal waters environmental management strategy with a dynamic system approach is recommended to use an optimistic scenario, but it needs to be supported by several policies in the form of (1) government support to build a community wastewater treatment facility or communal WWTP, (2) increasing community participation and concern for the aquatic environment , and (3) preparing regional strategic plans, specifically in the field of aquatic environmental management in the context of controlling effluent in coastal waters of small islands.","PeriodicalId":7395,"journal":{"name":"Akuatikisle: Jurnal Akuakultur, Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86492485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The high level of anthropogenic activity on the beach of Bahak Indah makes the fiddler crab community increasingly depressed and its habitat decreasing. The purpose of this study was to compare the community structure of fiddler crabs at Bahak Beach, Tongas, Probolinggo. The study was conducted in January – February 2022. The determination of observation stations was purposive based on the consideration of the presence and absence of mangrove vegetation. Sampling of fiddler crabs used a systematic sampling method using transects and plots. Community structure data analysis includes diversity, uniformity, and dominance indices displayed in graphical form. Based on the results of the study found 4 types of fiddler crabs in Bahak Indah Beach, namely Uca cryptica, Uca perplexa, Uca coarctata, and Uca dussumieri. The value of diversity on the beach with mangrove habitat is in the medium category, while on the beach habitat without mangrove vegetation it is in the low category. The uniformity value obtained in mangrove habitats is in the high category, while in coastal habitats without mangrove vegetation it is found in the medium category. On the other hand, the dominance index value is in the low category in coastal habitats with mangrove vegetation, and the moderate category in coastal habitats without mangrove vegetation. The relationship between the Diversity (H') of the fiddler crab and the environmental conditions of the Bahak Indah Beach waters is that it has a positive correlation with water pH parameters with sufficient correlation and soil pH with a strong correlation. While the correlation with temperature parameters is strong but negative. Likewise, salinity is quite strong but negative.","PeriodicalId":7395,"journal":{"name":"Akuatikisle: Jurnal Akuakultur, Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75928415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Underage marriage is a classic discourse that has occurred in society, both in urban, rural and coastal communities. Communities that practice underage marriages are usually influenced by the constructs that develop in the surrounding community. This paper uses a type of qualitative research with a purposive sampling approach. The type of research used is descriptive, based on case study research and documents (both printed and electronic), as well as other sources of information deemed relevant. The results of the study show that the practice of underage marriage occurs because of habitus or habits that are produced from the low economic conditions of fishing families so that underage marriage is considered as a solution for survival and also as social capital and cultural capital owned by fishing families, as well as the practice of buying age and the strength of religious knowledge is a supporting factor for the practice of underage marriages occurring in the area.","PeriodicalId":7395,"journal":{"name":"Akuatikisle: Jurnal Akuakultur, Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91081715","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
