Discovery of micro-blog community is of great value. However, the classical community discovery algorithms are generally based on links or interests only to recognize the traditional single community and limited to detect micro-blog communities effectively. Sometimes interaction among users is characterized by user's social information, but it's difficult to obtain in micro-blog. This work introduces the social network model based on the new social-networking characteristic called \"following\" which is employed in micro-blog. Based on the label propagation algorithm, we adopt the users' relationship, which was defined as the interaction from topic and hyperlink relations, and propose a micro-blog label propagation algorithm to detect communities. The experiment results on a real-world micro-blog dataset illustrate the reasonable and effective of our method. Experiment results over a real-world micro-blog data set illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency provided by our approach.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90883929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An online community is a platform on the Internet, where members read articles, post comments, and interact with other members. However, in operating and maintaining an online community for a long term, many community managers face this problem: many community members only browse articles of their interest; they do not post new articles, comments, replies, or provide any meaningful information. Facing this problem, community managers should realize why members share and provide information. This study regards involvement as a motive to explore word-of-month communication (a sharing behavior) and develops two antecedent variables: cognitive involvement and affective involvement. It seeks to know how these two types of involvement motivate members to perform electronic word-of-month communication. At last, this study aims to provide online community managers with better solutions and suggestions to work on their communities.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80262279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we employ Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) with the potential for highly increased spatial and temporal resolution of measurement data. Hence WSNs promise enhanced tracking of animals without human intervention. To help experts making a better species and habitat assessment as well as conversation strategies, we propose an Extended Hierarchical Path clustering eHPCl method for analyzing the mobility of wild animals. A predictive mobility algorithm is also presented, which help experts solve the problems in data allocation and management. A system that simulates the mobility of animals is implemented. Performance of the proposed method is finally evaluated in terms of running time and estimation accuracy.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88969795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Applications like E-mail, Web search and so on are widely used on mobile phones now. We need to input Japanese characters using only 12 keys on mobile phones. The letter cycling input method is most commonly used for the input of characters on mobile phones. In this method, a chosen key represents a consonant and the number of pressing it represents a vowel in Japanese. It is troublesome for a user because the input method needs several key-presses per Kαηα-character. We propose a pressure-aware input method for mobile phones. In our proposed method, a user is able to input a Kαηα-character per key-press. The pressed key represents several Kαηα-characters and has ambiguity. Our proposed method uses pressure of the pressed key for the disambiguation. Strength of a key-pressure means a vowel in our proposed method. A user presses a key by the pressure-strength corresponding to the intended vowel. Therefore, a user is able to input a Kαηα-character per key-press and input Japanese characters rapidly. Our proposed method corrects the errors in Kana-Kanji translation since the Kana-characters inputted by pressure may have errors. Thus, our proposed method enables us to realize rapid input of Japanese text on mobile phones. We show processes of our proposed method and also show the effectiveness of our proposed method by the result of the evaluation experiment.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86089628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are lots of advantages to using cloud computing for international companies. One of the major ones is the flexibility that it offers. Cloud computing means that users can access the files and data that they need even when they're working remotely. Since the popularity of cloud service, businesses are looking for cloud solutions to solve some of their biggest business and technology challenges: reducing costs, creating new levels of efficiency, and facilitating innovative business models. To understand what that means to the business, the benefits and potential risks of migrating to cloud services need to be carefully considered. The suitable business model is therefore becoming the focus as adopting the cloud service. The study is based on the Critical Factor Index with AHP method which had here a different function than it usually does. Basically all the other results given by the Critical Factor Index are based on a questionnaire inside the companies. In this case, the study was carried out by using external experts. The research outcome will conclude the critical success factors and new business model of cloud service adoption. We also discuss the factors that make cloud computing an attractive option for enterprises.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87597898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the NRAPI, the zero-order and the first-order polynomial interpolation schemes are adaptively applied in the noise replacement according to the noise density. It is observed that the proposed zero-order noise replacement scheme generally has better contrast and visual quality when the noise density is high and that the proposed first-order noise replacement scheme has better visual quality for cases of low and mild noise density. Consequently, the proposed NRAPI combines the zero-order and the first-order noise replacement schemes for better performance. The proposed NRAPI is justified by several images and compared with two newly reported noise replacement schemes. The simulation results indicate that the proposed NRAPI has better visual quality of restored images than those from the zero-order and the first-order noise replacement schemes, as expected.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75948805","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a cooperative work, a robot needs to be aware of an action of its partner robot by detecting some regions-of-interest in the visual field like human visual scanpath. To generate regions-of-interests by a robot, we have applied image processing algorithms based on active top-down feature patterns and bottom-up spatial kernels. The algorithms have produced energy maps from the images observed by the robot and they were combined with different weights to generate algorithmic regions-of-interests. They were compared with human regions-of-interest measured by a psychophysical experiment and the algorithmic predictability of scanpath was evaluated using a positional similarity index. Experimental results showed that presented method is applicable to the detection of regions-of-interests in hand movement.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81116601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The models embody knowledge and experiences of monitoring the vast varieties of systems and their behaviours. These many models constitute a lot of unshared knowledge because of differing network dynamics, heterogeneity and interests. One way of making these models sharable is by making them searchable, reusable and adaptable. In this paper, we employ the concept of Active Information Resource (AIR) to give interactive abilities to knowledge models so that they can easily be searched, reused and adapted. The objective is to improve knowledge and experience transfer across system monitoring centers of our networks.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86633971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As an illustration, we present the design and implementation of a DAE for a community of ten villages in a highly resource constrained drought prone area in eastern India. A DAE is focused on a small community and built using periodic family surveys, socio-economic analysis, simulations, machine learning and visualization. The local people participate directly in carrying out the surveys, analysis and interpretations periodically. DAEs targeting different communities, each customized to local conditions, can be integrated with available Information and Communications Technology (ICT) facilities. In this way an innovative micro-economic ecosystem can be built that generates feedback to regional and national stakeholders.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84567486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There have been several frameworks for the situation awareness. However, the existing frameworks have some problems for reasoning relations between multiple domain situations. The framework provides an entire sequence for situation awareness for the domain, but not how to streamline the sequence at different domains. We created rules to infer higher level's situation awareness on time and space for streamlining the aware sequence, devised meta event ontology for defining terms and process between different domains. There are common concepts (e.g. actor, object, relation) and properties (e.g. time and space) in almost situations, crossing multiple domains. These concepts and properties enable to infer relations between situations at different domains. Our meta-event ontology and rules are designed for abstraction of inference concept and process. Customizable active situation awareness (ASA) framework takes these concepts in the existing ASA framework then it contributes to situation awareness for multiple domains. We explained the ontologies and principles of the rules and a prototype of the customizable ASA framework.","PeriodicalId":68697,"journal":{"name":"炎黄地理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79323970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
