Nowadays, malicious software (malware) is widely used by cybercriminals to attack computer systems. Malware detection techniques are most effective when they extract discriminative features from the malware, various static and dynamic tools can be used to set up analysis environments. Using traditional methods to classify malware may have worked in the past, but using machine learning algorithms may be more effective in the future as they are designed to keep up with the complexity and speed of malware development. A comprehensive study of anomaly detection of malware based on machine learning algorithms is presented here. This paper also explains about the implementation of k-nearest neighbors of anomaly detection and discusses the challenges associated with implementing malware classifiers. In the final section, we discuss future directives regarding developing an effective malware detection system.","PeriodicalId":6810,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Practices in Technology and Management (ICIPTM)","volume":"17 1","pages":"774-779"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74603387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It's also known as a silent illness because it causes only minor vision problems or no signs at all. Annual eye examinations are critical for early detection. As a result, it employs fundus cameras to capture retinal images, but it is an impractical method for widespread screening due to its size and expense. As a result, smartphones are being used to create lightweight, and inexpensive retinal imaging systems that can perform automated DR detection and screening. Preprocessing is done first, including green channel conversion and CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization). Furthermore, the segmentation process begins with WT (watershed transform) optic disc segmentation and Triplet half band filter bank abnormality segmentation (exudates, micro aneurysms, hemorrhages, and IRMA) (THFB). Haralick and ADTCWT (Anisotropic Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform) methods are then used to remove the various features. Life choice-based optimizer (LCBO) algorithm selects the optimal features. The selected features are then put into an ML classifier, which divides the severity levels into average, mild DR, moderate DR, extreme DR, and proliferative DR. The proposed work is simulated in a Python environment, and datasets such as APTOS-2019-Blindness-Detection and EyePacs are used to test the efficiency of the proposed scheme.","PeriodicalId":6810,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Practices in Technology and Management (ICIPTM)","volume":"29 1","pages":"350-355"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76729276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Filter banks are used in an innovative approach for extracting possible exudate candidate sites. The bogus exudate areas are removed when the optic disc region is deleted. A Bayesian classifier, which is a set of Gaussian functions, is then used to distinguish between exudate and nonexudate areas. Using publicly available retinal image datasets and performance criteria, the proposed system is reviewed and tested. We compare the proposed system to previously presented techniques in order to establish its validity. The exudate identification algorithm was used on 30 retinal photographs, 21 of which had exudates and nine of which did not. When compared to an ophthalmologist, the sensitivity and specificity for exudate identification were 88.5 percent and 99.7%, respectively. In 14 retinal pictures, HMA (Haemorrhages and Microaneurysms) was found. For HMA identification, the algorithm has a sensitivity of 77.5 percent and a specificity of 88.7%. This research offers promising results in the automatic detection of key NPDR (Non-proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy) traits.","PeriodicalId":6810,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Practices in Technology and Management (ICIPTM)","volume":"200 1","pages":"283-286"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76976305","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is only the sector that is require and puts itself in the topmost position to fulfill the needs of every citizen of the country, so that they can survive and enjoy their life. Agriculture sectors also helps the country to make them more strong in term of relation with other nations. The current work focuses on enhancing the LoRa network performance by employing cooperative communication. Cooperative communication has emerged as the promising technology enabling efficient utilization of the communication resources by allowing the end devices to cooperate with each other in data transmission. The performance of dual hop LoRa network is investigated in terms of coverage probability and latency. Further to optimize the performance of the network, Genetic Algorithm (GA) has been utilized for both non-cooperative and cooperative scenarios. A mathematical model has been formulated and based on that an optimization problem has been defined in terms of estimated received power which gives the optimal transmission configuration of the LoRa node at which the received power is maximum. The optimized value of the received power is further utilized to optimize the performance of the network in terms coverage probability and latency. MATLAB simulations are carried out to highlight the goodness of the proposed model. Simulation results shows that by employing cooperative communication the performance of the LoRa network enhances by 22% and 8% improvement in coverage probability and latency respectively. Also, a significant improvement in coverage probability and latency can be observed in both non-cooperative and cooperative scenarios by employing GA.","PeriodicalId":6810,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Practices in Technology and Management (ICIPTM)","volume":"21 1","pages":"663-668"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77073859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
