It achieves better performance with less management overhead than other currently available schemes by dividing a group into the cell-based multiple subgroups and delegating key management functions to each base station governing each subgroup. However, room for improvement still remains in the subgroup size affecting the rekeying overhead directly. This paper proposes the enhanced CDKM which improves the rekeying performance through the reduction of the size of the subgroup, and adopts this scheme to group key management in vehicular communication networks. The proposed scheme further splits the cell-based subgroups into several segments, which is simple but very efficient way to reduce the rekeying overhead. In this paper we focus on the main challenges to build a seamless user experience. In particular, we present a novel device beaconing scheme to facilitate service and device discovery. Moreover, the mechanism enables the exchange of small data packets and facilitates the connection setup of a suitable transport radio. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to save power consumption of a three-cell microcellular network. When the traffic load in the middle cell is low, it can be switched-off and its users are covered. This is enabled by increasing the transmission power of one sector antenna in the two neighboring cells. Proposed architecture internally analyze and classify content, design and system infrastructure into three different layers using metadata extracted by user input and creates a highly scalable and easy to share digital signage environment. Furthermore, this architecture enables decentralized management by defining different user roles to handle each above mentioned layers. We believe that Infoshare architecture can make an efficient Creation, Distribution and Installation (CDI) cycle for multimedia digital signage content while allowing smooth scalability and management of the system. We applied this architecture to a prototype digital signage system. Nevertheless systems and services for elderly people with mild dementia, which is a population that is rapidly increasing, is not tackled yet in a holistic way. There are services available that can serve some of the user requirements, but there is a clear lack of integrated solutions focusing on the elderly. The proposed approach uses vertical handover prediction algorithms to improve the resource management decisions, through access to our Web Service implementation of the Media Independent Information Service (MIIS), which stores previously acquired information about surrounding hybrid access networks.
