This will enable the development of new emerging technologies such as remote surgery and autonomous vehicles. In this paper, we have investigated the differences between Shannon theory and Finite Blocklength Information theory and evaluated their performance in various scenarios such as orthogonal multiple access, nonorthogonal multiple access, millimeter wave and beamforming. In each and every case, the Shannon model has emerged to be the better performer compared to the Finite Blocklength Information model. However, on the other hand due to two factors the result of our study was inconclusive for the Shannon model. One of these factors happen to be the probability of decoding error and the other one is Blocklength size. Our paper provides numerous results for various factors and highlights the superiority of the Shannon model over the Finite Blocklength Information model.","PeriodicalId":6721,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"46 1","pages":"568-571"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75666962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since 1960s, Artificial Intelligence (AI) supporting system is widely combined with QA. Different research work is spreading out for developing more efficient, time and space moderated way. QA can be done in three different ways: with the help of database, pattern matching and regular expression (RE). Database QA system depends on the availability of information in the database. Pattern matching needs mounding of patterns. RE can perform the task with the help of some RE patterns only. Our concern is doing QA on a specific domain Bangladesh Railway, using RE generation. Pattern matching with RE makes it easier to find a few needed strings from a big sentence or a set of strings. Answering in natural language after knowing its question pattern and mapping with accurate answer with the help of RE make our system efficient one.","PeriodicalId":6721,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"21 1","pages":"1464-1467"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74425646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most effective shape for a solar collector is the parabolic trough shape because of its ability to focus sun's energy on a small focal point. The parabolic solar system uses concentrated solar power which uses mirrors and tracking systems to concentrate sunlight into a small area which generates sufficient thermal heat. This heat is utilized for generation of steam and the steam is used for operating a steam engine for producing electricity. A copper tube covered by a black layer is designed which utilizes heat transfer fluid (HTF) inside the metallic tube for producing steam. After producing electricity, the excess steam is utilized for generating safe drinking water. The developed model required very low collector surface area and the production cost is low.","PeriodicalId":6721,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"23 1","pages":"670-673"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74610079","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we employ complex network analysis methods to analyze the river-port network of the country. We ascertain different types of ports based on their importance and placement in the connectivity network. Data regarding port location, vessel routes, and schedules were collected from governmental resources. Using the data, a connectivity network was built for further analysis. Different measures of network analysis are used to categorize the ports and the network model has been identified. These categories should help transportation planners and policymakers to better design the inland waterways network of Bangladesh.","PeriodicalId":6721,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"90 1","pages":"1588-1591"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74624634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Proposed fault current limiter not only limits the fault current during symmetrical three line-to-ground faults (3LG) but also protects the rotor side converter (RSC) from destroying faults current and regains voltage very quickly. A 3LG fault is very severe for doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). It is crucial to enhance the transient stability of DFIG when this fault occurs. During standard operation time of DFIG, the proposed fault current limiter does not have any considerable effect. Also, it does not require the use of any measurement and control system. The proposed RLC-BFCL returns to its regular operation after removing fault within a short while without any switching mechanism. In this way, it enhances the transient stability and maintains the grid code requirements. Proposed FCL's performance compares with another fault current limiter, series dynamic braking resistor (SDBR) for proving its effectiveness. Simulation has done using PSCAD/EMTDC.","PeriodicalId":6721,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"48 1","pages":"1660-1663"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75311067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This low power factor(LPF) allows the current to rise and resulting in additional losses of active power. Our research aims in developing a system with microcontroller which automatically corrects the power factor by reducing the apparent power using capacitors bank. Moreover, the system helps in monitoring power factor of industrial loads on PC in wireless manner. When the inductive load increase, the microcontroller will calculate PWM signal fed to it and then turns on the capacitors according to the calculation.
