In this connection, they are expected not to forward hoax messages to fellow social media users so that the spread of hoax messages can be stopped at a university student level. To that end, this Dedication to the Public tries to provide counseling to students of the Faculty of Propagation and Communication at State Islamic University (UIN) Walisongo in Semarang. The method used to carry out the activity is counseling since the participants are students who are studying propagation and communication sciences. Therefore, many of them have a basic knowledge of propagation science which is necessary for them to become propagators in the future. More than 50 students, who are mostly students of the Faculty of Propagation and Communication and campus press activists of UIN Walisongo, participated in this counseling. This counseling ran dynamically through a discussion between the participants and source persons comprising a Central Java senior journalist, a commissioner of the Central Java Chapter of the Indonesia Broadcast Commission, and a lecturer of the Faculty of Propagation and Communication at UIN Walisongo. Among the result of the counseling is that the participants have understanding about the danger of spreading hoax news.  The awareness not to spread hoax news is very important since the participants of the counseling are prospective propagators who also study communication science and are groomed to have a skill in producing propagation messages to the public. The participants are grateful for the counseling since it has broadened their outlook to understand the danger of hoax information.","PeriodicalId":6698,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 37th International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD)","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80833084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, Srengseng Village is led by Mrs. Hj Rusmini. After we discussed this activity plan with the Lurah, Ibu Hj. Rusmini, the kelurahan has plans in the future to form a Savings and Loans cooperative in the Srengseng village environment considering that in the area there are many people who have micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) where it is hoped that the planned formation of this cooperative will be an opportunity for the surrounding MSMEs in finding alternatives. funding their business. The targets of this community service are members of youth organizations, administrators of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) from Srengseng Village. Considering that when this activity took place the Covid 19 pandemic was still engulfing Indonesia and even the world, therefore this community service activity regarding the training for the formation of savings and loan cooperatives was carried out in one day, which was held through a webinar in a virtual meeting room (zoom application) held by a team of lecturers. Mercu Buana University by involving Srengseng Village and South Meruya Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta. This is the problem formulation of this research, the researcher wants to analyze how Liputan6.com can carry out media convergence according to market needs, so that liputan6.com can win the competition in the New Media or New Media industry. By looking at the formulation of the problem, it will be seen how the convergence in online media is carried out. This study uses a constructivist paradigm, a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation data. Another theory used in this research is the Media Convergence Theory which was introduced by Henry Jenkins to take a technological approach, which states that online media must contain media convergence criteria, it is stated that online media can become economic convergence if it meets criteria containing elements of convergence, whether economic convergence or convergence, technology, social convergence, cultural convergence and global convergence which contains reducing the boundaries of space and time. The results of research on Liputan6.com stated that. In carrying out the Convergence of Coverage 6.com converges on the economy, on social and on culture, which is more directed at reporting to young people. In addition, Liputan 6.com also carries out cultural participation by creating affiliate program packages, expressions, collaboration of problem solving and connection. By engaging the audience with a term called citizen journalism, so that the audience will believe that what is conveyed contains elements of truth, and the last Commodification is Cybernatics where the limitations of space and time disappear when directed and packaged according to the purpose of Liputan6.com in informing the news. Beside it, certain hydroponic communities surrounding city of Bandung were formed in purpose to enlarge the activities of the planting and harvesting of hydroponic media. Some prefer to think it as a hobby by planting them in the front or back of their home but other members want to develop a small hydroponic industry such as MSMEs. One that is being developed is the MSME group located in Cileles Village, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, West Java. Although Sae Garden Farm hydroponic business has reached the stage of producing tens of thousands of vegetable plants per month, they cannot regularly supply them successfully to their customers. In fact, they need an online site that can promote and sell their products. In addition, this business requires better management of information systems known as a digital marketing. Our plan is to assist Sae Garden Farm SMEs to create a website, a mobile application and continue it with digital marketing. Our first stage will be to build a website followed by building an Android-based application (Mobile App) and it will be combined with strong Digital Marketing which can later be continuously developed by Sae Garden Farm SMEs. We hope that in the future various Hydroponic communities throughout Greater Bandung can work together so that through this community development activity, many people will benefit in the middle of the Pandemic of Covid-19.","PeriodicalId":6698,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 37th International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD)","volume":"66 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89151990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
