The Etéké gold district, aim of this study, is located in the Ngounié province (southern Gabon) on the western edge of the Chaillu massif. Geologically, the gold mineralization is associated with the Eburnean orogeny and hosted in the Archean greenstone belts. Also, this deposit is covered by a significant vegetation cover and a very extensive lateritic weathering profile, which hinders the most accurate study. Through this paper, we aim to propose a genesis pattern of this mineralization via a multidisciplinary approach. To do this, a petrographic, metallogenic, and geochemical characterization has been established in the different sectors of the Etéké deposit. The studied deposits display varied facies which are encased in granitoid. They are essentially formed of abundant granitoid, and amphibolite compared to the volcano-sedimentary formations. These rocks display magmatic textures, affected by metamorphism, and not sufficiently preserved. Based on our multidisciplinary approach, the studied samples collected from the core’s boreholes allowed us to decipher a volcanogenic and metamorphosed origin of the gold genesis.","PeriodicalId":63246,"journal":{"name":"地质学期刊(英文)","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The geology of this area includes granitoids (granodiorite, two-mica granite, biotite granite and muscovite granite) and metasediment panels. Petrographic studies were coupled with geochemical analyzes on the whole rock in order to provide new elements in the structural evolution of this portion of the West African craton. Petrographic data show that the basement of the Bonon area is partly identical to that of the northern part of the batholith. The structural data reveal three major phases of deformation that structured the study area. As for the geochemical data carried essentially on samples of granitoids, they indicated a high-k affinity the I type granite characteristics. The spectra of the REE normalized to chondrites, have mod-erate slopes with a fractionation highlighted by the ratios (La/Sm)N = 1.93 -4.56 and (La/Yb)N = 7.69 - 32.28. The multi-element diagrams revealed negative anomalies in Ta-Nb implying the partial melting of a crust of TTG composition. Studies for the geotectonic environment have shown that the granitoids of the Bouaflé and Bonon region were emplaced in an arc environment associated with a subduction zone.","PeriodicalId":63246,"journal":{"name":"地质学期刊(英文)","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Core samples from more than 300 wells that opened the rocks of the basement were analyzed by different methods. A new map of the pre-Jurassic basement of Karabash zone of the west part of the Khan-ty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO) has been made. For the first time for the West Siberia megabasin U-Pb dating was made for samples from Shaim-Kuznetsovsk meganticlinorium and late to middle Devonian ages were obtained. The Devonian ages was obtained for metamorphic complexes of the region and, in general, for the basement of West Siberia. The complexes considered as Precambrian before that. The obtained results enable significantly to clarify more exact history of pre-Jurassic rock forming for the basement of the west part of West Siberia craton and its structure in the limits of Karabash zone. Thus, obtained data testify that in pre-Jurassic basement of the west part of the West Siberia (Karabash zone), filling grabens basalt effusion began during Permian time (probably at the end of early Permian) at sublatitudinal compression, that is, at collision, possibly immediately after or subsynchronously with the origin of the granite. On the edge of Permian and Triassic (or in early Triassic), sublatitudinal compression changed into stretching, and submeridional grabens came to existence and basalt effusion came up to the maximum.","PeriodicalId":63246,"journal":{"name":"地质学期刊(英文)","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Caucasus axis and higher massifs are built of granitoid, gneiss, and metamorphic shales. The oldest rocks (600 million years old) are found at the highest points and the age of the rocks decreases in the vicinity of the hypsometry steps (70 30 million rocks). The geological structure of the region has made a significant contribution to the formation of relief landscapes. Karst, erosion-denudation, volcanic, periglacial relief, and various interesting forms are formed here: caves, valleys, canyons, glacial and rocky lakes, waterfalls, deep valleys, mineral waters, and more. The peculiarity of the relief also influenced the mining geological history (5000 AD) and the creation of ancient settlements. Here, still in ancient Racha, at the head of the main river, Rioni, ancient settlements were formed due to iron, gold, and copper metal, which is confirmed by archeological monuments.","PeriodicalId":63246,"journal":{"name":"地质学期刊(英文)","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a part of vast alluvial plains of India. Samples were taken from a 3 m thick exposed section. Grain size distribution and Palynofacies analyses of these sediments were carried out to study their textural parameters and the organic matter content respec-tively. Sediments are mostly fine to medium grained sand with silt percentage increasing upwards in the section. These sediments are mostly unimodal showing the grain size population controlled by a single type of grain size, mostly sand. Further the sand samples are moderately well sorted and mesokurtic in nature. Samples with silt are poorly sorted and leptokurtic with positive skewness, denoting those sediments have already sorted elsewhere in the high energy environment and are now transported and modified by the low energy environment. Palynofacies analysis also shows the presence of amorphous particles in the silt samples which indicate low energy environment of the sequence while presence of black debris in the sand samples indicates high energy depositions environment.","PeriodicalId":63246,"journal":{"name":"地质学期刊(英文)","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70650753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
