However, the massive commercial application of PEMFCs has been greatly hindered by their high expense and less-satisfied performance mainly due to the sluggish oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) kinetics even on state-of-the-art Pt catalyst. Octahedral PtNi nanoparticles (oct-PtNi NPs) with excellent ORR activity in a half-cell have been widely studied, while their performance in membrane electrode assembly (MEA) has much less reported. Herein, we investigated the MEA performance using the carbon supported oct-PtNi NPs (oct-PtNi/C) as the cathode catalyst. Under the mild acid washing condition, the surface Ni atoms of oct-PtNi/C were largely removed, and the performance of the MEA using the acid-leaching oct-PtNi/C (PNC-A) as the cathode catalyst was greatly improved. The maximum power density of the MEA reached 1.0 W·cm–2 with the cathode Pt loading of 0.2 mg·cm–2, which is 15% higher than that using Pt/C as the catalyst. After 30k cycles in the accelerated degradation test (ADT), the MEA using PNC-A as the catalyst showed a performance retention of 82%, higher than that of Pt/C (74%). The results reported here verify the possibility of using PNC-A as an advanced cathode catalyst in PEMFCs, thus enhancing the performance of PEMFCs while lowering the amount of expensive Pt.","PeriodicalId":60737,"journal":{"name":"黑龙江广播电视技术","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2026-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147893677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To match the warranty period of energy storage systems, the lifespan of this kind of Li-ion battery, not only under room temperature but also under relatively high temperature, is critical. Exploration of functional electrolyte additive provides an efficient approach to address this issue. This study reports the usage of pyridine (Py) as a new electrolyte functional additive for Gr.||LFP. In the first cycle, it was found that Py can be reduced before ethylene carbonate and vinylene carbonate, forming a dense and homogeneous solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer containing rich nitrogen and fluorine elements. Owing to the merits of the SEI layer, the parasitic reactions which occur at the graphite anode and consume the active lithium ion during cycling were suppressed. With the amount of 0.5wt% Py additive in the electrolyte, the Gr.||LFP pouch cell achieved a capacity of 3.2 Ah, exhibiting remarkablly enhanced cycling stability and high-temperature storage capability. Under the experimental conditions of 25 °C and 0.5 P, the capacity retention of the pouch cell reached 95.64% after 500 cycles, while still maintained 82.75% of the initial capacity after 1000 cycles under 45 °C and 1 P. After the 30-day storage at 45 °C and 60 °C, the capacity retention rates were 87.38% and 80.56%, respectively, which are significantly higher than those of the pouch cells with the blank control electrolyte. This work identifies Py as a highly promising electrolyte additive in stabilizing the graphite-based anode of Li-ion battery under both room temperature and high temperature.","PeriodicalId":60737,"journal":{"name":"黑龙江广播电视技术","volume":"31 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147883026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, we strategically engineer the active site structure of Co-N-C via B substitution, which is accomplished by the pyrolysis of ammonium borate. During this process, the in-situ generated NH3 gas plays a critical role in creating surface defects and boron atoms substituting nitrogen atoms in the carbon structure. The well-designed CoB1N3 active site endows Co with higher charge density and stronger adsorption energy toward oxygen species, potentially accelerating ORR kinetics. As expected, the resulting Co-B/N-C catalyst exhibited superior ORR performance over Co-N-C counterpart, with 40 mV, and fivefold enhancement in half-wave potential and turnover frequency (TOF). More importantly, the excellent ORR performance could be translated into membrane electrode assembly (MEA) in a fuel cell test, delivering an impressive peak power density of 824 mW·cm–2, which is currently the best among Co-based catalysts under the same conditions. This work not only demonstrates an effective method for designing advanced catalysts, but also affords a highly promising non-precious metal ORR electrocatalyst for fuel cell applications.","PeriodicalId":60737,"journal":{"name":"黑龙江广播电视技术","volume":"31 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-09-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://jelectrochem.xmu.edu.cn/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=3577&context=journal","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147895465","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the electrochemical NO reduction reaction (NORR) not only removes the atmospheric pollutant NO but also produces valuable NH3. Hence, through the synthesis and modification of Fe3C nanocrystal catalysts, the as-obtained optimal sample of Fe3C/C-900 was adopted as NORR catalyst at ambient conditions. As a result, the Fe3C/C-900 catalyst showed an NH3 Faraday efficiency of 76.5% and an NH3 yield rate of 177.5 μmol·h–1·cm–2 at a working potential of –0.8 and –1.2 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode (vs. RHE), respectively. And it delivered a stable NORR activity during the electrolysis. Moreover, we attribute the high NORR properties of Fe3C/C–900 to two aspects: one is the enhanced intrinsic activity of Fe3C nanocrystals, including the lowering of the energy barrier of rate-limiting step (*NOH→*N) and the inhibition of hydrogen evolution; on the other hand, the favorable dispersion of active components, the effective adsorption of gaseous NO, and the release of liquid NH3 products facilitated by the porous carbon substrate.","PeriodicalId":60737,"journal":{"name":"黑龙江广播电视技术","volume":"31 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://jelectrochem.xmu.edu.cn/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=3525&context=journal","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147333244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to its electrochemical activity, DA is commonly detected using electrochemical methods, which are favored for their simplicity, fast response time, and suitability for in vivo analysis. In this work, a highly sensitive DA electrochemical sensor was developed using an Au@MoS2 composite, created by modifying molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheets with gold nanoparticles through HAuCl4 reduction, and it was aimed at enhancing DA adsorption and improving detection performance. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) confirmed the successful synthesis of Au@MoS2 and the uniform distribution of gold nanoparticles across the MoS2 nanosheets. Then, the electrochemical characterization demonstrated that the Au@MoS2/GCE exhibited distinct oxidation peaks in a 10 μmol·L–1 DA solution, with significantly enhanced electrochemical activity compared to both unmodified GCE and pristine MoS2. Furthermore, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) further revealed a strong linear relationship between DA concentration and the current response in the range of 800 nmol·L–1 to 10 μmol·L–1, with a low detection limit (LOD) of 78.9 nmol·L–1 (S/N = 3). Additionally, the sensor showed excellent selectivity against other interfering substances. Moreover, the laser-induced Au@MoS2 (LIAu@MoS2), with its abundance of negatively charged surface defects, enabled the ultra-sensitive detection of the ultra-low concentrations of DA. In conclusion, the successfully fabricated Au@MoS2 based sensor offers advantages such as low cost, ease of operation, and scalability, making it a promising candidate for biosensing applications due to its enhanced DA detection capabilities.","PeriodicalId":60737,"journal":{"name":"黑龙江广播电视技术","volume":"31 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147332925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rational design of bimetallic MOF-functionalized microelectrode is of importance for improving the electrochemical performance but still in great challenge. In this work, the bimetallic FeCo-MOF nanostructures were assembled onto a gold disk ultramicroelectrode (Au UME, 5.2 μm in diameter) via an in-situ electrodeposition method, which enhanced the sensitive detection of epinephrine (EP). The in-situ electrodeposited FeCo-MOF exhibited a characteristic nanoflower-like morphology and was uniformly dispersed on the Au UME . The FeCo-MOF/Au UME demonstrated excellent electrochemical performance on the detection of EP with a high sensitivity of 36.93 μA·μmol–1·L·cm–2 and a low detection limit of 1.28 μmol·L–1. It can be attributed to the nonlinear diffusion of EP onto the ultra-micro working substrate, coupled with synergistical catalytic activity of the bimetallic Fe, Co within MOF structure. Furthermore, the FeCo-MOF/ Au UME has been successful applied to the analysis of EP in human serum samples, yielding high recovery rates. Herein, we proposed a strategy of embedding carbon nanotubes (CNTs) during the growth process of MOF crystals, synthesizing a metalloporphyrin-based MOF catalyst TCPPCo-MOF-CNT with a unique CNT-intercalated MOF structure. Physical characterization revealed that the CNTs enhance the overall conductivity while retaining the original characteristics of the MOF and metalloporphyrin. Simultaneously, the insertion of CNTs generated adequate mesopores and created a hierarchical porous structure that enhances mass transfer efficiency. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis confirmed that the C atom in CNT changed the electron cloud density on the catalytic active center Co, optimizing the electronic structure. Consequently, the E1/2 of the TCPPCo-MOF-CNT catalyst under neutral conditions reached 0.77 V (vs. RHE), outperforming the catalyst without CNTs.
