At this moment, liver dysfunction is a major source of destruction, and its widespread is accentuated in the developed republics. Long-term or persistent inflammation and oxidative stress due to any reason have a substantial impact on the beginning and continuation of chronic diseases such as hepatocellular carcinoma, liver cirrhosis, liver fibrosis, and other hepatic conditions. Liver diseases classified as hepatosis, cirrhosis and acute or chronic hepatitis are one amongst the most severe ailments This review deals with well-established in vivo , in vitro and in silico models for analysing the hepatoprotective activity of extract/drugs. Consequently, animal models are being developed to impressionist hepatic ailments. From several decades, researchers are using distinctive animal models for discovering and understanding the pathogenesis of hepatic ailments. This current cram has been framed to discuss numerous new and traditional experimental models for hepatotoxicity studies. Numerous animal models have evolved to evaluate the pathogenesis and develop drugs for hepatotoxicity. Experimental modes of hepatotoxicity are influential for invention of novel molecular signalling trails for the improvement of human health. This article aims to explore and unfold various possible models available for hepatoprotective models. Leeches are connected to the afflicted areas and start sucking blood after a first, painless bite. Instead of the blood extracted during biting, the majority of these therapeutic benefits originate from the numerous bioactive substances found in saliva, such as hyaluronidase, hirudin, calin, destabilase, apyrase, eglin, and many others. Treatments focus on reducing regional pain syndromes, primarily for osteoarthritis of the knee or other joint conditions. The use of this technology extends to plastic surgery, where it is used to maintain blood flow in clogged skin flaps, reconstructive procedures, cardiovascular complications, varicose veins, haemorrhoids, gastrointestinal disorders, dermatology, gynaecological abnormalities, and traumatic conditions like the reattachment of severed extremities, finger, toe, and ear. Recently, new applications in the treatment of diabetes, asthma and cancer have been found. Due to the increasing therapeutic potential of HT, researchers are striving to find and synthesize several new salivary compounds.","PeriodicalId":59706,"journal":{"name":"药剂与药理学:英文版","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44669873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in developing countries like Vietnam, this approach has been slower to adopt, resulting in substandard roads. In-depth studies of accident locations indicate that road environment factors contribute significantly to road accidents in Vietnam and road design features are associated with specific accident types and hazards. Proactive and reactive approaches, such as road safety audit, inspection, assessment, and treatment of hazardous locations, are necessary to ensure that the road and its environment are safe. This paper provides an overview of road safety in Vietnam in general, and Ho Chi Minh in particular, including its factors and characteristics, as well as road infrastructure safety improvements. The iRap tool for road safety inspection and assessment is highlighted as a potential method for systematically analyzing road infrastructure deficiencies and providing targeted countermeasures to improve road safety under mixed traffic conditions.","PeriodicalId":59706,"journal":{"name":"药剂与药理学:英文版","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48800700","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The over-reliance on road transport for the transportation of bulk of goods and people has contributed greatly to the deterioration of Nigeria’s roads and the attendant increase in road maintenance costs. Researches by scholars have revealed that a single means of transport cannot adequately serve the intra and inter-transport needs of the majority of people living in urban cities. Asaba and Onitsha located at the banks of river Niger have outlets for water-based transport services, which are yet to be fully developed and integrated with the dominant road transport system. Bulky goods that arrived by sea are best transported from the port through the waterways to inland ports. The Onitsha port, which was established in the 1980s has not been functioning and this makes road transport the only option for transportation of goods and people between the two cities. It is against this background, that this paper surveys the transport modes in the two cities and advocates the need for inter-modal transport modes that would ensure seamless movement of people and goods between the two cities and with other parts of the country. The paper submits that for the two cities to derive full benefits of the different transport modes, there is need for efficient inter-modal transport systems linking the two cities and regions in order to minimize the frequent chaotic traffic congestion on the Niger bridge. The optimal utilization of inter-modal transport modes would enable each transport mode to perform its distinctive roles which would lead to faster transportation of passengers and goods as well as ensure reduction in transport costs. The paper also proffers ways of achieving an efficient inter-modal transport system between Asaba and Onitsha and Nigeria at large.","PeriodicalId":59706,"journal":{"name":"药剂与药理学:英文版","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44406344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
