The institutions are commonly considered to have less economic resilience. This study aims to formulate a prototype to encourage the establishment of an independent pesantrenpreneur in Indonesia. The study applied descriptive qualitative approach to examine the implementation of the OPOP program in mentor pesantren and fostered pesantren. The paradigm used in this study is interpretive-constructivist. The results showed that the success of the Al-Ittifaq Islamic Boarding School in West Java and the Mukmin Mandiri Islamic Boarding School in East Java in running the pesantren business could not be separated from several factors: 1.) Islamic boarding schools have superior quality products according to market segmentation. 2.) Pesantren has an official business entity that is managed professionally to ensure the accountability of the business entity. 3.) Pesantren has a strong network with strategic partners to support business continuity. 4.) Islamic boarding schools have creative and innovative steps in terms of business management, products, and marketing. 5.) Islamic boarding schools consistently implement sharia principles to ensure product halalness and the application of Islamic values in business processes.","PeriodicalId":56245,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishoduna Jurnal Ekonomi Islam","volume":"99 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73446313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The new model offered is ZakaTech, an online payment model that makes it easier for a muzaki (zakat payer) to fulfill his or her responsibility to pay zakat in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the distribution of zakat funds using ZakaTech method is considered very effective in helping mustahik, especially helping the poor who are economically affected by the covid-19 pandemic. This paper aims to analyze the strategy of developing zakat model with Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) approach and zakatech Readiness Index. The results show that the main strategy needed in terms of developing ZakaTech is the ability of human resources (amil zakat) in managing and analyzing data in the era of big data using digital services. The main elements involved in ZakaTech development in Indonesia include the government as a regulator, educational institutions, media digital, amil and muzaki (pentahelix).","PeriodicalId":56245,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishoduna Jurnal Ekonomi Islam","volume":"72 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86155220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to show how public awareness and inclination of the community in understanding the existence of cash waqf and trying to find normative reasons that become obstacles to the implementation of cash waqf. This study used quantitative methods and by descriptive approach to describe the results through an in-depth discussion. Respondents consisted of 390 people from various backgrounds spread across Indonesia, such as religion, age, education, income, and province. The findings indicate that, in general, the knowledge of the Indonesian people regarding cash waqf is still shallow in the classifications mentioned in this study, because many people still didn’t know well what waqf is. Moreover, most of the respondents stated that infaq is more convenient than waqf. However, this is driven by several obstacles that need to be considered when designing educational and outreach methods in the future. The role of this research is expected to lead to the fulfillment of the potential of cash waqf, which has such a significant function in society. This study could be used as a formulation of a socialization strategy to attract wakif candidates in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":56245,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishoduna Jurnal Ekonomi Islam","volume":"188 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73204049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research was conducted because of the low GCG implementation in Indonesia. This study used multiple linear regression to test the influence between variables and Sobel tests to determine the mediation effect of profitability. The research was conducted on companies registered in LQ45 for the years 2015-2019. The data used in the study was 245 data. The results showed that independent commissioners and audit committees had a negative effect, the board of directors had a positive effect, and institutional ownership did not affect profitability. Direct testing of GCG's influence on the firm values showed that independent commissioners had a negative effect, institutional ownership had a positive effect, and the board of directors and audit committee did not affect the firm value. The results also showed that profitability could mediate the influence of GCG on the firm value except for institutional ownership variables. Further research is expected to increase the number of samples and use different measurements of the firm. Companies need to improve GCG to increase management transparency so that investors and creditors can make appropriate decisions about the company.","PeriodicalId":56245,"journal":{"name":"Iqtishoduna Jurnal Ekonomi Islam","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86635056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also found that Islamic financial inclusion had a positive effect on the development of micro-enterprise capital, which indicates that people classified in the micro-business group have broad access to Islamic financial products and services might increase business capital. This allows a contemporary and realistic understanding of how small entrepreneurs are adapting to crises. The findings suggest that the entrepreneurs in this study can leverage their capabilities in terms of how they scan the current business environment and make decisions accordingly. Furthermore, small business entrepreneurs adopt a flexible approach to be able to react to the unexpected changes of covid-19 and the affected market environment. Business agility will help entrepreneurs to respond to internal and external changes in an efficient manner. Many business functions cannot resume due to the covid-19 pandemic. Marketing techniques that were considered profitable and successful before 2020 will not develop now. This is because small businesses work with fewer resources and are under financial pressure.
