Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the level of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms and the attitudes of parents of children diagnosed with ADHD. Methods: According to the Diagnostic and Numerical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV diagnostic criteria, 66 children with an age range of 6-13 were diagnosed with ADHD and their parents who brought them to the interview. A total of 94 parents were included in the study, including both the mother and father of some children diagnosed with ADHD, the mother of some, and the father of some. Parents of the children were evaluated with the “Wender-Utah Rating Scale (WURS)”, “Parenting Styles and Dimensions Scale (PSDS-SF)”. Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı; dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB) tanısı konulan çocukların ebeveynlerinin DEHB belirti düzeyi ile anne baba tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Yöntemler: Çalışmaya Mental Bozuklukların Tanısal ve Sayımsal El Kitabı-IV tanı ölçütlerine göre DEHB tanısı konulmuş, yaş aralığı 6-13 olan 66 çocuk ile onları görüşmeye getiren ebeveynleri alınmıştır. DEHB tanılı çocukların bazılarının hem annesi hem babası, bir kısmının sadece annesi, bazılarının ise sadece babası olmak üzere toplamda 94 ebeveyn çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Çocukların anne ve babaları “Wender-Utah Derecelendirme Ölçeği (WUDÖ)”, “Ana-Babalık Stilleri ve Boyutları Ölçeği (ASBÖ-KF)” ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmamızın sonuçlarına göre; WUDÖ puanları kesme değerinin üstünde olan ebeveynlerde WUDÖ puanları kesme değerinin altında olanlara göre ASBÖ-KF’nin izin verici alt ölçek puanlarının anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu, her iki grup arasında ASBÖ-KF’nin yetkin ve otoriter alt ölçek puanları açısından anlamlı fark olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ebeveynlerin yaş ve eğitim düzeyleri ile anne baba tutumları arasında anlamlı ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur. Ayrıca ebeveynlerin DEHB belirti düzeyi ve ebeveyn tutumları açısından karşılaştırmalarında, anne ve babalar arasında her iki değişken açısından anlamlı fark saptanmamıştır. Sonuç: Çalışmamızın sonuçları DEHB belirti düzeyi yüksek olan ebeveynlerde izin verici tutumların anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. DEHB tanılı çocuklara klinik yaklaşımda; anne babaların DEHB belirtilerinin ve tutumlarının değerlendirilmesinin, ebeveynlerin yetişkin DEHB hakkında psikoeğitiminin tedavi açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. In our study, we aimed to show the effectiveness of TVUSG in detecting EP with the hysteroscopy (H/S) results of patients who applied to our clinic and were considered for EP in TVUSG. Methods: One hundred twenty-five patients who were admitted to the obstetrics outpatient clinics of our hospital between August 1, 2015 and April 1, 2017 and were scheduled for H/S operation with a pre-diagnosis of EP were included in the study. The relationship between the age, abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB), infertility history, and the presence of EP after H/S was examined in the patients who had EP appearance on ultrasonography. The H/S results of patients with suspected EP in TVUSG and the efficiency of TVUSG in detecting EP were investigated. Results: The average age of the patients was 38.04±8.47 and ranged from 21 to 63. A significant difference was found in H/S between the ages of those with polyps and those without them (p=0.012). In patients with polyps in H/S, the average endometrium thickness was 13.36±5.37 mm, and in non-polyps, endometrium thickness was 14.08±4.58 mm. There was no significant difference in terms of endometrial thickness (p=0.141). Çalışmamızda, kliniğe başvuran TVUSG’de EP düşünülen hastaların histeroskopi (H/S) sonuçları ile TVUSG’nin EP saptamadaki etkinliğini göstermeyi amaçladık. Yöntemler: Çalışmaya 1 Ağustos 2015 ile 1 Nisan 2017 tarihleri arasında hastanemizin kadın doğum polikliniklerine başvuran EP ön tanısı ile H/S operasyonu planlanan 125 hasta dahil edildi. Yaş, anormal uterin kanama (AUK), infertilite öyküsü ve USG’de EP görünüm izlenen hastaların, histereskopi sonrası EP varlığı ile öykü ilişkisi incelendi. TVUSG’de EP düşünülen hastaların H/S sonuçları ile TVUSG’nin EP saptamadaki etkinliği araştırıldı. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 38,04±8,47 olup 21 ile 63 arasında değişmektedir. H/S’de polip olanlarla olmayanların yaşları arasında anlamlı farklılık saptandı (p=0,012). H/S’de polip izlenen hastaların ortalama endometrium kalınlığı 13,36±5,37 mm, polip olmayanlarda endometrium kalınlığı 14,08±4,58 mm olarak görüldü. Endometrium kalınlığı açısından anlamlı farklılık saptanmadı (p=0,141). H/S’de polip görünenlerde AUK öyküsü oranı (%34,5) polip görünmeyenlerde AUK öyküsü oranından (%13,2) anlamlı derecede daha yüksek görülmüştür (p=0,007). Yaşı >35 olan 73 olgunun %76’sında H/S’de polip izlendi ve bu oran 35 yaş altı olgulara göre anlamlı olarak yüksek saptandı.
