The established model is validated by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results for pressure and actuation shocks. Based on the established finite element model, the contribution of the four shock sources to the actuation shock is quantitatively decoupled by changing the state of the pin puller. The results demonstrate that the maximum shock caused by the piston impact was 7454.33 G in the analysis frequency range of 500 Hz–10 kHz. The piston impact was the primary contributor to the actuation shock, accounting for approximately 80.80%. The contribution of the shock caused by payload release was approximately 18.56%. However, the total contributions of the shock generated by the pyrotechnic charge combustion and piston cutting off the shear pin were less than 1%. The conclusions of this study can provide a reference for the structural and shock-reduction design of pressure cartridge-type pyrotechnic separation devices.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"1363 - 1378"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90151117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are three integrable cases of this problem. Emphasis is placed on two integrable cases, and a full description of each one is provided. The separated functions of the first and second integrability cases are transformed from a higher degree to the third and fourth degrees. Respectively, the periodic solution is obtained using Jacobi’s elliptic functions. The topology of phase space and Liouville tori’s bifurcations are discussed. The phase portrait is studied to determine singular points and classify their types in addition to the graphic representation for each of them. Finally, the numerical illustrations are introduced using the Poincaré surface section to emphasize the problem’s integrability.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"1276 - 1295"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72668774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is supposed that the gyrostat spins slowly about the minor or major principal axis of the inertia ellipsoid. The gyrostat is acted upon by a gyrostatic couple vector besides the action of Newtonian and electromagnetic fields. The approach of the large parameter is applied to obtain the periodic solutions for the governing system of equations of motion of the gyrostat. A geometric illustration using the angles of Euler is given for such motion to evaluate and analyze the gyrostatic motion at any instant. The analysis of the obtained solutions is considered in terms of numerical data throughout computer programs. Characterized parametric data are assumed through one of the numerical methods for obtaining numerical solutions that prove the validity of the analytical obtained periodic solutions. The obtained solutions, besides the phase diagrams, have been drawn to describe these solutions’ periodicity and stability procedures. The novelty of this work comes from the imposition of a new initial condition that does not restrict movement around the dynamic symmetry axis. This assumption allows the use of a new technique for the solution called the large parameter. This technique gives solutions in a completely new domain that are different from the ones studied in previous works.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"1205 - 1221"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83274827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The NET model considers the length scale parameter, which can capture the small scale effect of nanostructures considering the interactions of non-adjacent atoms and molecules. Material characteristics of FGM nanobeams are considered nonlinearly varying throughout the thickness. The nanobeams are modelled according to the Timoshenko beam theory and its equations of motion are derived using Hamilton’s principle. The DSM is used to obtain an exact solution of the equation of motion taking into account the neutral axis position. This nonlocal DSM proposed has overcome the stiffening phenomena of the cantilever beam fundamental frequency and validated by comparing the obtained results with published results. Afterwards the proposed model is applied to investigate free vibrations of stepped FGM nanobeams. Numerical results are presented to show the influence of the material distribution profile, geometry, nonlocal, elastic foundation and boundary conditions on the free vibration of stepped FGM nanobeams. It is shown that the proposed nonlocal DSM can be applied to more complex stepped nanostructures.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"73 1","pages":"997 - 1017"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84510485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The second order governing system of motion is obtained in view of the system friction forces. This system is transformed to another suitable one of first order to investigate the points of equilibrium using Hurwitz’s theory. The excitation and critical stick-slip (SS) speeds are determined in accordance with the characteristic equation for the Jacobian matrix of the system. The stability and behavior of the system motion, along with the behavior of the SS movement, are examined. The effect of various parameters, such as excitation speed, damping and fraction coefficients, linear and nonlinear stiffness of springs, and masses that affect the motion and stability of the system is analyzed and studied. This research has numerous practical applications in a variety of industries, including airports, modern car brakes, well drilling, explaining and understanding seismic events, mechanical transportation, friction in bridges, and civil systems, which all exhibit impacted friction in dynamics and stick-slip phenomena.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"12 1","pages":"1251 - 1275"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91134139","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The traditional step by step integration method cannot be used to calculate the time-domain responses. Based on the theoretic solution that eliminates the divergent term for the complex damping model, the equivalent viscous damping model is proposed and the corresponding average acceleration method is realized in this paper. The numerical cases show that the calculated results of the equivalent viscous damped system are convergent, which are equal to the ones of the deleted divergent term based on the complex damping model. The correctness of the proposed method is verified, and the computational efficiency is high.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"69 1","pages":"1531 - 1540"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83124685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the physical modeling is difficult to model the actual dynamics of the rope strictly under the actual working conditions. This paper takes a high-speed elevator hoisting system as an example. A modified model combining the physical model and the data-driven model is proposed to mitigate the deviation between the physical model and the actual model. In the experiments, the vibration signals of the rope were extracted from images collected by a camera. A beat-like phenomenon of the vibration signals is discovered in the vibration signals of the rope during the acceleration stage. The experiment results demonstrate that the modified model can more accurately model the dynamics of the rope under the actual working conditions and reduce the absolute error of 75.9% compared with the physical model. The proposed model also provides a reference for the modification of the complex dynamic models.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"19 1","pages":"1055 - 1070"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90962388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose two significant methods named the modified (Gʹ/G, 1/G)-expansion method and the Gʹ/(bGʹ + G + a)-expansion method. After utilizing these two efficient techniques, many types of explicit soliton pulse solutions including the well-known bell-shape bright soliton pulse, the kink and anti-kink dark solitons pulse, the mixed bright-dark soliton pulse, the W-shaped soliton pulse, the periodic waves pulse, and the blow-up soliton pattern solutions are obtained. If we select different values of the frequency, coefficients and orders, the dynamic properties and physical structures of these solutions are discussed, these important results can help us to further understand the inner characteristic of the model.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"21 1","pages":"1222 - 1241"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86975910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on multi-body dynamics theory, a vehicle-track rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model was established. According to the actual running wear condition of the wheel, the wheel-rail vibration response was calculated and analyzed (the order of wheel polygons is 20, and the polygon amplitude is 0.01/0.02/0.03/0.04 mm, respectively). Together with the finite element/boundary model of the wheel, the calculated wheel-rail force was used as an external incentive to analyze the effects of polygon amplitude on the time-frequency domain of wheel noise. The research results show that: when the polygon order is 20, with the increase of polygon amplitude, the wheel-rail vertical force and the acceleration of wheel, rail and track slab increase gradually. It’s also found that the rail acceleration is obviously more sensitive to the amplitude than the track slab acceleration, while the vertical displacement of the rail and track slab is less sensitive to the polygon amplitude. At the same amplitude, the closer to the wheel rolling line, the more obvious the sound pressure decreases with the increase of height. At different amplitudes, the sound pressure at different positions will increase with the rise of the polygon amplitude. The root mean square value of sound power increases gradually with the addition of amplitude: When the amplitude changes from 0.01 mm to 0.04 mm, the calculated sound power increases by 4.1 dB.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"94 1","pages":"477 - 495"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79232690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a data-driven method based on the Elman neural network (ENN) to predict the value of acoustic pressure of combustion instability. As a comparison, a model based on support vector machine (SVM) was built. It is proved that ENN has better prediction performance with a certain predicted time horizon compared to the SVM method. What is more, the prediction model based on ENN can adapt to time-varying characteristics of the transition scenario which is characterized by amplitude modulation, multiple frequencies, and irregular bursts. ENN model still maintains enough prediction accuracy for various input training sets, indicating that ENN can fully mine the features of data and has a strong feature extraction ability in combustion oscillation prediction. Hence, it is demonstrated that ENN is a promising prediction tool for thermoacoustic instability under various combustion conditions. These findings are of great significance for the accurate prediction and control of thermoacoustic instability.","PeriodicalId":56067,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Low Frequency Noise Vibration and Active Control","volume":"21 1","pages":"1519 - 1530"},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82677247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
