The equations are considered with hybrid proportional and variable delays. The proposed method transforms the functionaltype differential equations into matrix form. The matrices were converted into a system of algebraic equations containing the Dejdumrong polynomial. The coefficients of the Dejdumrong polynomial were obtained by solving the system of algebraic equations. Moreover, the error analysis is performed, and the residual improvement technique is presented. The presented methods are applied to three examples. Finally, the obtained results are compared with the results of other methods in the literature and were found to be better compared. All results in this study have been calculated using Matlab R2021a.","PeriodicalId":55878,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics","volume":"109 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141821500","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conjugacy class graph of 𝐺 is a graph whose vertices are the non-central conjugacy classes of 𝐺 and two vertices 𝑎, 𝑏 are adjacent if 𝑔𝑐𝑑(|𝑎|, |𝑏|) is greater than one. In this paper, we explore the structures of these graphs for the groups 𝐷𝑛 × 𝐷𝑚 for odd and even values of 𝑛 and 𝑚. The chromatic number and independence number of the conjugate graphs, their line graphs and complement graphs are found. Building upon the foundational concepts of 𝔹ℂ-modules and rearrangement-invariant spaces, we explore the intricate interplay between these spaces under the action of composition operators. Our study delves into the algebraic and topological aspects of composition operators, elucidating their impact on the underlying space structures. After establishing the necessary background on 𝔹ℂ -modules and 𝔹ℂ-rearrangement-invariant spaces and laying the groundwork for our subsequent analysis, a rigorous examination of composition operators, we uncover fundamental properties such as 𝔻-continuity, 𝔻- boundedness, and 𝔻-compactness, shedding light on the intrinsic characteristics of these operators within 𝔹ℂmodule spaces.","PeriodicalId":55878,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics","volume":"101 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141821835","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We focus on the dynamically modified operator, incorporating a viscosity term into the nonlinear vibrations of plates. Vibrating plates have a broad range of applications. To address user requirements comprehensively, we've taken into account factors such as the geometric configuration, material density, plate thickness, and Poisson's ratio. After formulating the problems, our method involves converting them into hyperbolic-type nonlinear problems. In this study, we examine six boundary value problems, establishing existence and uniqueness theorems for each. Lastly, we establish the existence of a solution for the stationary problem by employing a variation of Brouwer's fixed point theorem.","PeriodicalId":55878,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics","volume":"29 27","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141119072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) control chart is highly effective for detecting small changes. This research introduces the Extended Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (Extended EWMA) control chart for the Autoregressive and Moving average process with order p = 1 and q = 1 (ARMA(1,1)) The Extended EWMA control chart incorporates two smoothing parameters ( λ1 and λ2 ) derived from the EWMA control chart. A comparative analysis of the performance of the EWMA control chart. The Average Run Length (ARL) value as determined by the explicit formulas in this research, serves as a metric for evaluating the performance of the Extended EWMA control chart and the EWMA control chart. The Numerical Integral Equation (NIE) method is used to verify the accuracy of the ARL for the explicit formulas of the two control charts which has not been before discovered. The effectiveness of control charts can also be evaluated by analyzing SDRL, ARL, MRL, RMI, AEQL, and PCI values as metrics for various design parameter values. After analyzing the results of the ARL and all five performance meters, it was determined that the Extended EWMA control chart is better than the EWMA control chart at all shift sizes of process changes. Finally, the assessment of the ARMA process is being conducted to evaluate the ARL using a dataset on PM2.5 dust levels in Bangkok, Thailand during January and February of 2024.","PeriodicalId":55878,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics","volume":"11 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141120945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of an outbreak of disease in the prey species, the prey gets classified as either healthy or diseased. Both predator and prey species compete for their resources. In addition, the prey sought refuge against the predator. All these factors are addressed when setting up the mathematical model. The biological validity of the model is ensured by testing its boundedness. The equilibrium points have been identified. The short-term behavior of the system is analyzed at all equilibrium points. Routh Hurwitz conditions are employed to examine the local stability property.","PeriodicalId":55878,"journal":{"name":"WSEAS Transactions on Mathematics","volume":"28 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141119095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
