Nurses are at the center of this evaluation and play an important role in the outcome of therapy. Data shows that nurses are limited in their ability to record and interpret electrocardiography diagrams accurately. Little is known about the role nurses play in electrocardiographic evaluation in an emergency. This narrative literature review assesses the competency of nurses in electrocardiography in an emergency, the implications for medical practice, and tries to identify possible improvement solutions.","PeriodicalId":55841,"journal":{"name":"Practica Medicala","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135131634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we present a new method for treating cases of rectovaginal fistula that will be added to the medical literature. In this study, we examine two patients with low vaginal fistula from their initial clinic visit until the end of their follow-up period. Methods and materials. Two patients who had undergone a normal vaginal delivery one year prior presented to our clinic with complaints of offensive vaginal discharge and distressing symptoms, including stool leakage and vaginal flatulence. They consented to experience this new technique for the treatment of their low vaginal fistula. Results. Gebrel-Mostafa technique has numerous beneficial effects, including the elimination of the need for a second operation to remove the plastic Avis, which functions as a seton. In addition, it is characterized by a short duration of operation, the inability to form an abscess or hematoma, and a rapid return to normal life. Avis plastic acts as an auto-tightening and auto-cutting material, and the patient or doctor can tighten it. Finally, it is less expensive, and there is no requirement to use the labial Martius flap. Conclusion. This (Gebrel-Mostafa) technique yields positive outcomes with no significant morbidity and is feasible to perform. The absence of incontinence, abscess formation, and sepsis in the wound may be attributable to the wide range of antibiotics administered to the patients.","PeriodicalId":55841,"journal":{"name":"Practica Medicala","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135081418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From a clinical point of view, BMS can present itself in 2 forms: the primary/essential form, whose etiopathogenesis is unexplained, justifying the permanent concern as a topic of research at the international level, and the secondary form, in which the causes of the syndrome can be identified and treated/ removed, allowing healing. Particular to the primary form of BMS is the discrepancy between the extent of subjective pain felt by the patient as “burning” and the lack of any objective (clinical) signs in the oral mucosa. In this form of BMS, the pathogenesis of pain can be explained by invoking the role and importance of the field and some favourable factors. In recent years it has been noticed that changes in taste perception and pain tolerance could be possible causes of the “burning” sensation. Thus, the involvement of the field allowed the following hypothesis to be issued, namely that taste is generated mainly at the level of the fungiform lingual papillae.","PeriodicalId":55841,"journal":{"name":"Practica Medicala","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: A prospective study was carried out in the period 2014-2020 in which 113 patients with benign pancreatic pathology treated surgically admitted to the CF2 Clinical Hospital in Bucharest were included. For this study, the statistical method of simple linear regression was applied. Results: Patients' quality of life can also be influenced by the level of social support and medical care they receive. A strong support network, which can provide emotional and practical support, as well as access to appropriate and specialist medical care, can play an important role in managing symptoms and improving patients' quality of life. Conclusions: Although patients in this study experienced significant improvement in symptoms and ability to perform daily activities, it is important to pay attention to and manage persistent symptoms and postoperative complications to ensure the best possible quality of life.","PeriodicalId":55841,"journal":{"name":"Practica Medicala","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45777957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
