An increase in the well-being of people in a region can be seen in the increase in wages received by that region. Unfortunately, at the end of 2019, in December to be exact, a catastrophe believed to be caused by an unknown pneumonia shook the world. The incident occurred in Wuhan, China. China recognized pneumonia as a separate novel coronavirus strain on January 7, 2020. The research method used is qualitative with panel data regression analysis using the 2020-2021 time series and cross-sections of her 34 provinces in Indonesia. The dependent variable in this study is average consumption, and independent variables include gross domestic product (GDP), average wages, number of poor people, and open unemployment rate (TPT). The results of this study are that several independent variables are relevant, the variable GDPP has a positive effect on median consumption, median wages have no effect on median consumption, the number of poor people has a negative effect on median consumption, and TPT has a positive effect on median consumption.","PeriodicalId":55751,"journal":{"name":"Ekuilibrium Jurnal Ilmiah Bidan Ilmu Ekonomi","volume":"49 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74571847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is indicated by the increasing number of shopping centers and the development of tourism and educational activities. Sleman Regency is a business center in DIY Province because it has the largest number of shopping centers in DIY Province compared to other districts. This study aims to determine whether the house adjacent to Sleman City Hall, the largest shopping center in Sleman Regency, has a higher selling price. While similar studies use primary data collected in the field through questionnaires, this study contributes to the property economics literature by utilizing secondary data from the OLX dataset to estimate the selling price of the house. A total of 229 data obtained through the OLX website related to selling prices, proximity to Sleman City Hall, and property characteristics were processed using multiple regression analysis with the ordinary least squares (OLS) technique. The finding of this study is that the distance from Sleman City Hall has a negative and significant effect on the selling price of the house. Another finding from this study is that the building area and land area have a positive and significant effect on the selling price of the house. On the other hand, the distance to the asphalt road has nothing to do with the selling price of the house.","PeriodicalId":55751,"journal":{"name":"Ekuilibrium Jurnal Ilmiah Bidan Ilmu Ekonomi","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86280081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early marriage is widely believed to impact future economic outcomes negatively and is also associated with higher poverty incidence. Previous research has shown that early marriage significantly affects an individual’s future welfare and makes them vulnerable to poverty (Dahl, 2010). Research on this issue is still limited in Indonesia, and we aim to pursue the impact of early marriage decisions on poverty, using divorce, dropout, and gender as control variables. We use panel logistic regression on Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) data set. We classify early married individuals as someone who marry under 18 years old, while the poverty variable is measured using the national poverty line. The logistic regression shows that early marriage is significantly associated with lower wages and poverty. The marginal effect of the logistic regression shows that an individual who marries early has a higher probability of getting into poverty, as much as 13-15%. We also found that women are more vulnerable to poverty than male with the exact status of marriage and education level. This result implies that the early marriage problem needs further attention from the policymaker. Regulation of the age of marriage should be reinforced and supported by more stringent measures from local governments.","PeriodicalId":55751,"journal":{"name":"Ekuilibrium Jurnal Ilmiah Bidan Ilmu Ekonomi","volume":"39 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88022031","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Economic growth is the most important factor in development that determines the success of the development of a region/region which is measured based on the high or low levels of economic growth achieved. This study aims to analyze the effect of General Allocation Funds (DAU), Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH) on Economic Growth and Human Development Index (IPM). The object of research was carried out in South Halmahera Regency in 2012-2021 using the multiple linear regression analysis testing method. The results show that the influence of the General Allocation Fund, the Special Allocation Fund and the Profit Sharing Fund simultaneously influence Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. While the results of partial testing, the influence of General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Profit Sharing Funds also affect Economic Growth with the Human Development Index in South Halmahera Regency. This indicates that the greater the regional potential revenue, it will be able to increase the achievement of Economic Growth and the Human Development Index.","PeriodicalId":55751,"journal":{"name":"Ekuilibrium Jurnal Ilmiah Bidan Ilmu Ekonomi","volume":"27 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72462137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, this study also examines the role of dividend policy in explaining the relationship between corporate governance and profitability on the value of banking firms. A sample of 135 observational data comes from 27 banking companies during 2016-2020. This research found that corporate governance has a negative and significant influence on dividend policy. In addition, the CG index is one of the factors that can explain the company's market value. Profitability is empirically proven to influence dividend policy. Dividend policy is proven to play a role in mediating the relationship between profitability and firm value. The method used in this study is the ARDL model with secondary data from the World Development Indicators in 1966-2021. The results of the analysis show that initially government size has a significant positive effect on economic growth in the short run. But, in the long term, when the government size variable is in the form of a quadratic to determine a non-linear relationship, it shows a negative relationship to economic growth with a safe limit expenditure of 57.9% of national income. This study is in accordance with the Armey curve hypothesis. The policy recommendation in this study proposes that the government needs to control the amount of the budget so that its expenditure does not exceed the threshold. Furthermore, the role of this investment is evaluated to see the extent of its success in the area's economic performance. The study had two objectives; first, to know what variables affect the reduction of the poverty rate and increase in GDP per capita in the border area of West Kalimantan covering five districts, namely Sambas, Bengkayang, Sanggau, Sintang, and Kapuas Hulu. The independent variables used in this study are the realization of PMA and PMDN investment, the number of industries, and the absorption of labor in the industrial sector. Using secondary data for 2019-2021 and Panel Data Regression analysis, it can be seen that only employment in the industrial sector influences increasing GDP per capita and decreasing poverty rates. Meanwhile, the realization of PMA and PMDN investment, as well as the number of industries, did not significantly influence. The second objective of this study is to determine which investment is better based on the Forecasting Method. The Naive Method shows that PMDN investments have a smaller MSE value and a lower MAPE value than PMA investments. It means that PMDN investment is more feasible to be used as an option for future funding development in border areas.","PeriodicalId":55751,"journal":{"name":"Ekuilibrium Jurnal Ilmiah Bidan Ilmu Ekonomi","volume":"36 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78041404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
