The results of our analysis indicate that while performance type moderates the relationship between BDAC and firm performance in the hypothesized direction, country of origin moderates this relationship in the opposite direction, and respondent type shows no moderation effect. The theoretical and practical contributions, limitations of this meta-analysis, and suggestions for future research are explained.","PeriodicalId":54855,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Computer Information Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2023-02-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82935110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Metaverse is a virtual platform that uses extended reality technologies, i.e. augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, 3D graphics, and other emerging technologies to allow real-time interactions and experiences in ways that are not possible in the physical world. Companies have begun to notice the impact of the metaverse and how it may help maximize profits. The purpose of this paper is to offer perspectives on several important areas, i.e. marketing, tourism, manufacturing, operations management, education, the retailing industry, banking services, healthcare, and human resource management that are likely to be impacted by the adoption and use of a metaverse. Each includes an overview, opportunities, challenges, and a potential research agenda.","PeriodicalId":54855,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Computer Information Systems","volume":"86 1","pages":"735 - 765"},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2023-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77538515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To explore this important and yet overlooked topic, we developed a model by adopting Amabile’s componential theory of individual creativity, which identifies three preconditions for creativity: (1) Creative ability, (2) Intrinsic motivation, and (3) Prior knowledge. We conducted an empirical study to validate our research model using Bitcoin as an emerging information technology. The study confirmed that all three components significantly impact the perception of and attitude toward an emerging technology. A better understanding of creative individuals can help firms improve their innovation potential.","PeriodicalId":54855,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Computer Information Systems","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84556817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are more than 100.0000 academic studies related to the IoT in the Web of Science (WoS) database. Therefore, it would be useful to examine the bibliometric performance, conceptual structure and thematic development of IoT. This paper conducts a bibliometric performance analysis using VosViewer and a conceptual structure analysis using SciMat from 2013 to 2022 for IoT. In this context, bibliometric data of 9679 articles were downloaded from the WoS. Bibliometric performance analyses such as changes in the number of publications, and determination of prominent authors and journals were carried out. Finally, scientific mapping analysis was performed using the SciMat. In this way, themes related to the IoT were revealed and a wide-ranging description of the IoT was made. In addition, the relations between the themes and the evolution of these relations were also revealed.","PeriodicalId":54855,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Computer Information Systems","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2023-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89048167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To ensure the long-term success and widespread dissemination of a product, it is important to evaluate its continued use. This study is mainly based on uses and gratifications theory to explore the relationship between the initial use of, gratification provided by, and continued use intention of smart home assistants, and to analyze differences in use by different age groups. The results confirm that different types of SHAs use lead to different levels of gratification in different categories. And gratification of different categories of users has a significant positive impact on the continued use intention. In addition, significant differences exist in the impact path of using smart home assistants to alleviate loneliness, among different age groups.","PeriodicalId":54855,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Computer Information Systems","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2023-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75352660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
