When people get older, the importance of implants is emphasized. Dental implants have a crucial effect on life satisfaction. Many techniques have already been developed it. However, those still required many procedures. Shin et al suggested the new model based on MA. The electrochemical nanopattern formation (ENF) model takes out lots of steps when it is made. It is very simple because it only removes TiO2 NT layers. Interestingly, we investigated many studies, this simple model did not distinguish the other commercial models. Surface modification by ENF process improved the osteogenic differentiation in cells. It did not limit the cells. In vivo study, ENF also promoted the bone to implant connectivity. {"title":"Effect of Phenolic Acids on Temperature-sensitive Property of Self-assembly of Ionic Pair of Poly(ethylene imine)/(phenylthio)Acetic Acid","authors":"Fanyu Zhao, Jin-Chul Kim","doi":"10.21203/rs.3.rs-907833/v1","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21203/rs.3.rs-907833/v1","url":null,"abstract":"\u0000 The ionic pair self-assembly (IPSAM) composed of poly(ethyleneimine) (PEI) and (phenylthio)acetic acid (PTA) was prepared and the effect of phenolic acids (PAs) (e.g. cinnamic acid (CA), hydroxycinnamic acid (HCA), and dihydroxycinnamic acid (DHCA)) on the upper critical solution temperature (UCST) and the temperature-responsive releasing property of IPSAM were investigated. PEI/PTA ionic pair showed a UCST behavior and the PAs decreased the UCST effective in the order of DHCA > HCA > CA. The PAs were thought to attach to the PEI chain of PEI/PTA ionic pair as pendants. According to the interfacial tensiometry, PEI/PTA(3/7) ionic pair was found to be air/water interface-active due to their amphiphilic property. CA had little effect on the interfacial activity of the ionic pair. HCA and HDCA significantly decreased the interfacial activity possibly because they are more polar than CA thus the hydrophilic and lipophilic balance of PEI/PTA ionic pair could be broken by their attachment to PEI chains. IPSAM was found as nanoparticles whose diameter was tens of nanometer and PAs had little effect on the shape and the size of IPSAM, once the UCST of PEI/PTA/PA ionic pair was above room temperature where the TEM micrographs were taken. If the UCST of PEI/PTA/PA ionic pair was below room temperature, no particulate matters were found on the TEM micrographs. The release degree of cargo loaded in IPSAM increased slowly with time lapse below UCST. Mazaheri","doi":"10.22541/au.159969837.71192895","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22541/au.159969837.71192895","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract High-quality zeolite ZSM-5 zeolite membranes were successfully synthesized on the outer surface of tubular α-alumina substrates by manipulating the microstructure of the zeolite layer using a new different-sized seeding (DSSM) in combination with a variable-temperature/time (VTT) methods. In this method the defects/microcracks in the bottom seed layer, which are filled by smaller seeds, are effectively eliminated using a designed temperature/time profile, resulting in a significant increase in selectivity without scarifying permeance. The effects of number and combination of seed layers, seed particle size, and the synthesis temperature-time profile on the microstructure, N2/SF6 gas permeation, and H2/CO2 separation performance of membranes are evaluated in detail. The synthesized ZSM-5 zeolite membranes show the microstructure of thin, fully inter-grown, and densified zeolite layer that is responsible for high selectivity without any negative effect on the permeance. Since there is very limited room for inaccurate assessment of oil quality due to strict flying safety standards, much aviation lubrication oil is disposed in advance long before their service life. More important, aircrafts still face the fatal challenges from unpredictable lubrication oil deterioration. Color change is surely a significant signal to diagnose the quality of lubrication oils. Based on the colorimeter, the color numbers of the testing lubrication oils are measured in this paper to identify the color variation degree of the oxidized lubrication oils. Then the molecular structures of the oxidized lubrication oils are investigated to find the intrinsic relationship between the oxidation products and color numbers. Based on key performances of the oxidized oil samples, the oil quality is undoubtfully deteriorated which is coincident with the variation of color number.
