The main cardiac manifestations of this disease are fulminant myocarditis, atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and heart failure. Cardiac arrhythmias are common complication not only in adult patients, but also in children. In this paper, we present a clinical case of the young female patient who successfully underwent operation because of a submitral (diffuse-generalized) form of HCM, with a long event-free postoperative course, and with the rapid cardiac dysfunction, syncopes and cardiac arrhythmias after COVID-19 infection. Syncopes were caused by self-terminating short runs of ventricular tachycardia that did not trigger ICD shock.
