The rational complex of geological and geophysical methods for assessing the geoecological state of technogenic-loaded areas near to the tailings dump is grounded, considering the peculiarities of the territory tectonic structure and possible geodynamic changes of the state of the geological environment. Recommendations for the complex of geological and geophysical methods for the effective solution of ecological monitoring problems with the purpose of possible changes of the geological environment under the influence of natural and man-made processes around the tailings dump of radioactive waste are developed. In the future in the settlements connected with the possible emergency ecological situation due to the proximity to the tailing dump the SkhidHZK the Shcherbakivska beam, it is necessary to take a number of measures directed at the constant conduct of round-the-clock geoecological monitoring and limitation of external and internal chronic exposure of the population. It is assumed that in case of deterioration of the environmental situation based on the results of round-the-clock monitoring research, it will allow to fulfil the timely receipt of information from the monitoring unit to the information user that is responsible for making of managerial decisions on protecting the population of settlements adjacent to the Shcherbakivska beam.","PeriodicalId":52937,"journal":{"name":"Mineral''ni resursi Ukraini","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69863795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Price indicators and income from sale of coal affect significantly reserves value, profitability of their development, and determine industrial significance of reserves. In domestic practice commodity exchanges, contractual, regulated, world and transfer prices are used. In international practice coal prices are formed at the result of futures, spot or stock exchange contracts. Now international coal trade realizes in the framework of futures contracts and spot transactions. In recent years, short-term contracts prevail, rarely it’s used medium-term contracts. A sequence of coal pricing for geological and economic assessment has been determined, which is the following: classification of coal by grades and classes in accordance with current standards; statistical analysis of prices by grades and classes, coal enrichment products; determination of a system of discounts/surcharges to the price of each class depending on coal quality; correction of actual producer prices for assessment reserves. The values of surcharges or discounts for individual indicators of coal quality are determined. The sensitivity analysis of reserves value and profitability from changes in selling coal prices has been carried out. The determination of the coal price or enrichment products requires a detailed justification depending on the stage of geological and feasibility study of reserves. For detailed assessment of explored or exploited deposits it is reasonable to use actual prices of coal sales for the previous period and contract prices for future periods in the presence of medium and long-term contracts. For preliminary geological and economic assessment, it is possible to use the price of the analogue deposit, which is developed, or wholesale coal prices with correction by quality.","PeriodicalId":52937,"journal":{"name":"Mineral''ni resursi Ukraini","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69863836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

New geological criteria and search signs for rare-metal and rare-earth mineralization have been developed. The first group includes the forecasting criteria that are tied to the general patterns of location of pegmatites in time (geochronological) and space (megastructural). These criteria define the main structural units (pegmatites provinces, regions, districts) and their metallogenic specialization. The second group combines regional criteria among which are distinguished tectonostructural, magmatic and metamorphic. These forecasting criteria define the formation and localization of the pegmatite belts and fields. The third group consists of criteria that emerge from the conditions for the formation and localization of pegmatite nodes and bundles. The fourth group are the criteria of pegmatite bodies that can be identified during study their internal structure. These are mineralogical-geochemical, structural-textural, petrochemical, thermobarochemical and thermoluminescent. Prospects for further work aimed at identifying new rare-metal and rare-earth metal deposits within pegmatite-bearing fields are estimated.","PeriodicalId":52937,"journal":{"name":"Mineral''ni resursi Ukraini","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69863931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The structure of regional development of the mineral base of Ukraine was investigated by grouping administrative and territorial units by the activity of subsoil work, by the degree of industrial development of available proven reserves of minerals, by quantity and type, by the presence of strategically important minerals. It is established that balanced development of the mineral base of individual regions is complicated by the uneven distribution of studied and forecast mineral resources within the limits of separate territories, as well as the peculiarities of distribution of consumers of mineral raw materials. The main disadvantages in the regional structure of the mineral base were identified and the main directions of their optimization were determined in order to achieve balanced development indicators. The state of national programs development of mineral base of Ukraine for period to 2010 and 2030 was adopted for the balanced development of Ukraine’s mineral base. But this program does not include the issue of the regional nature of the development of a mineral base in the conditions of decentralization, which is provided for by the Concept of reforming local self-government and territorial organization of power in Ukraine. The study of official sites of regions, cities and united communities showed a systematic absence of official regional development programs for the mineral resource base.","PeriodicalId":52937,"journal":{"name":"Mineral''ni resursi Ukraini","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48790334","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is based on the adequate physical-mathematical model of rocks, on the empirical relations between compressibility, porosity and pressure for these rocks, on the core data and also on acoustic logging data (the interval times or body wave’s velocities). For the cases of the acoustic logging data absence, the variants of the prediction technique by using data of gamma-logging, electric logging, and the offset logging method are developed. The presented technique is realized as a system of theoretical and empirical relations and the resulting functional. The adequate set of software tools is developed in the Fortran, C# and Excel environments. The technique is tested on the well’s data of a number of structures of Western oil and gas region of Ukraine: Lishchynska, Buchatska, Ludynska, Zaluzhanska, Zarichnianska, Nyklovytska, Orkhovytska. The statistical estimations of petrophysical characteristics of rock-collectors of those wells are presented. For more reliable prediction by the technique, instead of relations for the general parametric base, the empirical relations for concrete available in the studied boreholes logs types and subtypes of rock-collectors are elaborated.","PeriodicalId":52937,"journal":{"name":"Mineral''ni resursi Ukraini","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69863950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
