This study examines the oral interpretations of scholars who have a depth of knowledge and are recognized for their wisdom by other scholars, especially Kiai Haji Maimun Zubair. Along with the times, there have been commentators who are active in interpreting the Qur'an as evidenced by the emergence of popular classical commentary books such as the interpretation of Ibn Kathir and others. In today's era where the development of science and technology is increasingly advanced, various forms of interpretation appear on various social media such as Youtube and Facebook. One of them is Ustadz Zulkifli Muhammad Ali through a Youtube account called UZMA Media TV Channel. This study aims to determine the method of Ustadz Zulkifli in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an as a proposition in lecturing starting from January 2, 2020-January 3, 2021. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach where the data is obtained from the results of a collection of UZMA video lectures and books, journals, articles, and theses. The results of this study are in the form of a classification of the themes of UZMA lectures in the past year, including around the end of time, life guidelines (practice and worship), ethics, and muamalah, the Covid-19 outbreak. The maudhu'i method of interpretation has not met several criteria and has a systematic interpretation. Pada kajian matan pemahamannya terus berlanjut dengan berbagai perbedaan makna mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Pembahasan mengenai Hadits yang bertema perempuan menjadi salah satu kontroversi baik di kalangan cendekia, ulama, maupun masyarakat awam. Beberapa Hadits yang keshahihan sanadnya sudah dipastikan, mengandung kesan diskriminasi pada kaum perempuan secara tekstual. Hal tersebut kemudian melahirkan banyak respons negatif terhadap Hadits itu sendiri. Salah satu Hadits yang dinilai misoginis adalah Hadits tentang paling banyak penghuni neraka adalah perempuan karena lemah akal dan agamanya. Adanya pengamalan Hadits yang tidak sesuai nilai agama Islam dan penyalahgunaan Hadits sebagai dalil untuk merendahkan perempuan, membuat banyak aktivis gender menganggap Hadits-hadits tersebut harus dihilangkan dalam artian dilupakan dan tidak diamalkan karena kemudian Islam dianggap memposisikan perempuan di bawah laki-laki. Di samping itu, hadir metode mubadalah dengan konsep pemahaman kesetaraan atau kesalingan yang memaknai Hadits sesuai dengan nilai rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Dalam tulisan ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis dan jenis penelitian library research. Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai mubadalah yang terkandung dalam Hadits tentang paling banyak penghuni neraka adalah perempuan karena lemah akal dan agamanya. Yakni, perbuatan mengingkari nikmat dan melaknat dapat terjadi secara universal baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. The concept of sexuality will differ according to place and time, because it is a social concept and construction of values and behaviors related to sex. This article aims to explain Sexuality and Family Harmonization in Rokan Hulu Riau with the Al-Quran Approach. This research is field research with a qualitative approach, which explains sexuality in the Qur’an and its implications for family harmony in Pekanbaru. The research data collection method uses interviews, observation, documentation, and various articles and books. It was then analyzed using the content analysis method with a descriptive and scientific analysis of a premium message.. The result of this research is that sexuality in Islam is shaped by cultural and religious values. Religious values color the formation of views about what is allowed to be done or not, various imperatives, and attitudes that are developed in relation to gender roles. The view of sexuality in Islam is humanist because it is full of human empathy. Meanwhile, the implications of sexuality on family harmony in Rokan Hulu Riau include; a). Reduced satisfaction with marriage; b). The husband’s self-esteem becomes low in the eyes of the wife; c). Husband feels inferior; d). The husband silences his wife; e). The husband is easily angry with his wife; f). Husband left the house temporarily; g). Munawir","doi":"10.29240/alquds.v6i3.4369","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29240/alquds.v6i3.4369","url":null,"abstract":"In the horizon of Hadith study, two major streams have different thoughts on hadith interpretation, namely Ahl Al-Hadith and Ahl Al-Ra'y. Ahl Al-Hadith views hadith, based on their theoretical framework construction, as literal values while Ahl Al Ra’y, based on their knowledge, perceived hadith as contextual values. The difference in their paradigms has often put them in clashes and conflicts both on the ideological and practical levels. This study attempts to shed some light on the domination dynamics that often occur between them through historical investigation. A qualitative-interpretative method and a historical approach are applied to gain the needed data. The results show that both Ahl Al-Hadith and Ahl Al-Ra'y have existed since the time of the Prophet, the Shahaba, and the Tabi'in. In all three eras, Ahl Al-Ra'y was found more dominant than Ahl Al-Hadith. Meanwhile, Ahl Al-Hadith was recorded as dominant at the time of Imam Al-Syafi'i and during the documentation of hadiths into books. Based on these findings, it becomes clear that each of these two streams becomes a continuity base for others.
