Still, the power generated from available wind over time is characteristically uneven due to the unpredictable nature of their primary source of power. This only increases the problems inherent to the integration of a great number of wind technologies into power networks, making their contribution rather difficult to manage (regulating voltage and frequency, wind-station operation, etc.). The integration of wind power in the Rwandan electrical system is now an issue in order to optimize the utilization of the resource and in order to continue the high rate of installation of wind generating capacity, which is necessary in order to achieve the goals of sustainability and security of supply. This paper presents and is intended to analyse wind power penetration and integration in the country, impact and challenges that are associated with the integration of wind power into power systems and analyse barriers to wind power penetration and integration in Rwanda. These impacts include effects of wind power on the electrical system, capacity of national grid to accommodate wind power (stability of grid). In addition, the paper suggests the solutions that should be offered to improve the management of wind power generation and increase its penetration in the overall electrical energy production. The authors also investigate the relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and OLR of students. Moreover, this work examines the mediate role of learner satisfaction in the linking of OLS usage and performance in Vietnamese higher education.Design/methodology/approachA total of 558 valid questionnaires were collected from students at five large universities in Vietnam to test the fit of proposed model, measurement model and structural relationships between constructs by using partial least squares (PLS) path analytics.FindingsPerformance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence have significant positive effects on OLR of students in online learning context. OLR has a positive impact on both learner satisfaction and OLS usage. The learner performance is significantly influenced by satisfaction while it is indirectly affected by OLS usage via satisfaction. In addition, OLS usage plays as a partial mediation variable in the relationship between OLR and satisfaction. The path model could explain 56% of variance of the learner performance.Research limitations/implicationsThis study has a few limitations. First, this study is cross-sectional, which allows the elaboration of correlations between variables but lacks confidence in causality exploration. Second, the self-reported data are inherently subjective, which might generate biased results in measuring learner performance.Practical implicationsThis research has implications for instructors and higher education organizations. The findings provide insights for instructors to manage efficiently the OLS adoption of students. Higher education organizations should understand and identify factors in terms of OLR, OLS usage, learner satisfaction and learner performance when OLSs are implemented in university. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence have been criticized for considering OLR.Originality/valueThis is the first empirical study to determine relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, OLR, OLS usage, satisfaction and performance in the context of online learning environment in Vietnam.","PeriodicalId":51872,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Information and Learning Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":3.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44947539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Finally, the performance of the developed models was evaluated (Step 4).FindingsThe paper found that the decision trees algorithm outperformed other machine earning algorithms. The study also confirms the significant effect of the academic background and virtual learning environment (VLE) interactions feature categories to academic performance. Data were analysed using a mixture of descriptive statistics and logical argumentation.FindingsThe authors found a strong agreement that Buslish is important in the chosen setting, but there are problems in practice. Views on the importance of style and precision of the language actually used varied considerably. A key practical implication is that there is a role for English continuing professional development (CPD) courses.Practical implicationsFirms should support the development of English language skills of employees, certainly at management level and perhaps also at shop floor level. Suitable courses could be offered in firms' CPD programmes. Employees who are native speakers should be encouraged to enunciate clearly for non-native speaker colleagues, not to use slang and not to speak too quickly. The study sought to examine the role of it on enhancing service delivery in customer care centers in Switzerland. The acquisition and application of any modern technology should consequently be done with the vital stakeholders in mind. Service organizations have actually made use of technology to enhance their performance. The internet has the ability to bring lots of choices right into the hands of the customer and has actually enhanced the speed of globalization. Those organizations which are focused on development and improvement are required to invest in technology as it has an influence on service delivery. The study embraced the descriptive study design. The target population consisted customers. Especially, the target population was 400 individuals. The data collection tools consisted surveys. The data was analyzed making use of both descriptive and inferential statistics. The research concluded that the use of technology has a positive impact on enhancing service delivery in the customer care centers. Information technology is essential in enhancing services delivery to the clients. The level of technology adoption affects the service delivery which indicates that if the level of innovation is enhanced in the operations of the customer care centers, after that the efficiency in service delivery will also increase. The study advises that customer care centers must ensure that they take on the technology for the improvement of service delivery.
