GANs utilize backpropagation and a competitive process between a Generative Network (G) and a Discriminative Network (D). In this setup, G generates artificial images while D distinguishes real from artificial ones, enhancing G's ability to create realistic images. Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Networks (DCGAN) are particularly notable, using a convolutional architecture to produce high-quality human face images. This study trains DCGAN on the CelebFaces Attributes Dataset (CelebA), demonstrating its ability to generate human faces from unlabeled data and random noise. Evaluation is done quantitatively using the Structural Similarities Index (SSIM) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) to assess image quality. Additionally, this abstract will compare the effectiveness of GANs and DCGANs in human face generation.","PeriodicalId":517766,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering Hub (IRJAEH)","volume":"42 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141107700","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gestures emerge as a highly coveted means of communication with machines. The significance of Human-Computer Interaction becomes evident when harnessing human gestures to govern computer applications. While conventional controls like mice, keyboards, and laser pointers have been commonplace, recent technological strides have introduced more effective techniques for application control. Numerous Gesture Recognition methods, leveraging image processing, have been explored in the past. However, the challenge of recognizing gestures in noisy backgrounds has persistently posed difficulties. In our proposed system, we intend to employ a technique known as Augmentation in Image processing to command a Media Player. This involves recognizing gestures to manipulate operations on the Media Player. Augmentation proves advantageous, particularly in the realm of virtual reality, as it is not constrained by background limitations. Additionally, it eliminates dependencies on specific accessories like gloves or color pointers for gesture recognition. The proposed system caters to users seeking a simplified and enhanced interaction with their computers.","PeriodicalId":517766,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering Hub (IRJAEH)","volume":"90 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141116400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the specific volume of air is directly proportional to the temperature, an increase in air density results in a higher air mass flow rate at low air ambient temperatures. This results more mass of air is now passes through same volume gas turbine space. Consequently, the gas turbine power output increases proportionally with the increase in air mass flow rate. For geographic regions where warm and humid months are predominant throughout the year, significant power loss occurs during these months, and a higher rate of expensive fuel is fired at reduced power output. A gas turbine inlet air cooling technique is a useful option to enhance GT output. One of the innovative options for power augmentation of gas turbine is inlet air conditioning using a vapor absorption machine (VAM). Using VAM for GT intake air conditioning has the advantage over other systems in that it can be operated from waste heat. Many gas turbine machines, particularly natural gas pumping stations, are operated without heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) or heat recovery option. Valuable heat energy is escaped with exhaust flue gas in these systems. This paper demonstrates how GT exhaust waste heat can be utilized for its own power generation enhancement. In this study, a flue gas-based vapor absorption machine is selected for cooling the inlet air of a 26 MW gas turbine, which is used to drive the booster compressor of a natural gas pumping station. The capacity of the VAM for the required cooling effect has been calculated. The expected GT power enhancement from intake air gas conditioning has also been estimated in this paper.","PeriodicalId":517766,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Engineering Hub (IRJAEH)","volume":"44 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141113659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
