Buildings constructed with sea sand blocks in the region experienced serviceability complications with massive deterioration and degradation of strength in blockwalls that appears in powder form with associated cracks and exhibits failure modes in the buildings due to high salinity. Sangana located within latitude 4.3839° North; longitude 5.9938° East and Amassoma latitude 4.9731° North; longitude 6.1090° East in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria. A total of 288 samples, including 144 each of stacked River Sand and Sea Sand blocks of ages 10 and 6 years respectfully were investigated. The stacked blocks for River Sand and Sea Sand shows a strength loss of 44.13% and 62.97% respectfully, due to exposure direction to driving rain and North-East trade winds. These conclusions open a wider scope and opportunities for research into sea sand masonry units and walls.","PeriodicalId":517256,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research and Studies","volume":"122 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141126123","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Almost 10% of the patients develop dermatological manifestations before the onset of respiratory illness, with cutaneous signs that can appear from before to several days after the diagnosis of COVID-19. We believe that the dermatologist can play an important role through early recognition of skin lesions suggestive of COVID-19, particularly in asymptomatic infections where this recognition could direct toward an early diagnosis of infection that certainly leads to a better prognosis. Objective: To explore the pattern of dermatological manifestations among COVID-19 Bangladeshi patients. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out May 2020 to October 2021 with COVID 19 positive hospital admitted patients. Data were collected through a group of Dermatologists who were serving at COVID dedicated Hospitals. Dermatologists, who were working in different medical college hospital and health complexes, were attached with the study as research associate. Results: Among the muco-cutaneous findings, maculo-papular eruption 52(53.6%) was the most common, followed by chilblain like eruption 40(41.2%), petechiae or purpura 16 (16.5%), urticarial lesions 13(13.4%), vesicular lesion 10(10.3%), Bilateral conjunctivitis with clear/mucoid discharge 10 (10.3%), aphthous stomatitis 13 (13.4%), Alopecia 16(16.5%), Darkening of the face 13 (13.4%), Eczematoid reaction 13 (13.4%), livedo reticularis like eruption 5(5.2%) etc. Conclusion: The major dermatological patterns of COVID-19 can be classified as inflammatory reactions (maculopapular, urticarial and vesicular rashes), or lesions of vascular origin (chilblain like rashes, petechiae/purpura, and livedo reticularis like pattern).","PeriodicalId":517256,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research and Studies","volume":" 26","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140997053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Marriage in Balinese customs is called pawiwahan. Pawiwahan is a sacred thing in the process of human life from the status of brahmacari to the time of grhasta. Mebyakaon marriage is marriage under the hand. The problem in this study is why mebyakaon marriage is taken by the parties to form a marriage and the legal consequences of mebyakaon marriage on their marital status in the community and the status of children born from this marriage in Rantau Jaya Ilir Village, Putra Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency. This research is normative-empirical legal research with a descriptive research type. The problem approach used sociological juridical approach with data sources is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques with literature studies and field studies are interviews with informants and respondents who carry out marriage mebyakaon. Data analysis is qualitative analysis. The results of research and discussion show that the reason for the marriage is caused by several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, mutual demen, parental desire factors, and the factor of men who are still legally married to other women. The marital status of mebyakaon is not the same as traditional Balinese marriage in general, what distinguishes it from mebyakaon marriage is that it lies in a traditional procession that has not been carried out completely. Based on the decisions and decrees of Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), the validity of marriage is determined on condition that Tri Upasaksi. The legal position of mebyakaon marriage does not have a strong binding force so that this marriage may not have the same legal status as traditional Balinese married couples in general. Similarly, the legal consequences of marriage will be different. Couples who perform mebyakaon marriage may not enter the temple and participate in the massacre in the village because mebyakaon marriage is valid according to the parties only but, according to Balinese customary law this marriage is invalid and children born from mebyakaon marriage are extramarital children (anak astra) and marital property in mebyakaon marriage There is no legal certainty and there is no mixing of property between husband and wife.","PeriodicalId":517256,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research and Studies","volume":" 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140996675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a means to protect the cultivators against financial loss on account of anticipated crop loss which might arise out of uncontrollable natural calamities such as natural fire, weather, floods, pests, diseases etc. In West Bengal, various crop insurance schemes have been implemented so far. The common aim of the schemes is to provide financial support to farmers in the event of crop failure and stabilize farm production and income of the farming community. This is the motivation behind the study. The study has been conducted among farmers of Hooghly district in West Bengal to understand their perception of efficacy of crop insurance schemes. Respondents include both insured and non-insured farmers. The mean age of the farmers with crop insurance was 43.18±16.13 years and the mean age of the ones without crop insurance was 44.22±18.07 years respectively (p=0.62). All respondents were males with full ownership of farms. The mean size of the farms was 5.95±3.28 bigha. A total number of 60 farmers were selected randomly out of which 30 farmers were with crop insurance and rest 30 were without crop insurance. Among the risk management strategies adopted for the destruction of crops, sale/ mortgage of land, sale of livestock and government relief were higher among non-insured farmers as compared to insured farmers (p>0.05).","PeriodicalId":517256,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research and Studies","volume":" 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140996414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of topical preparations suitable for wound healing is ointment. The ointment base can affect the release of active substances and absorption in the skin layers, since the release of the drug from its base is an important factor in the success of therapy. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of base type variations on the physicochemical properties of ointments from banana peel methanol extract nanoemulsions. Ambon banana peel extract was obtained by maceration using methanol solvent and made in the form of a nanoemulsion. Ambon banana peel extract nanoemulsion is then added to the ointment preparation with water-soluble, absorption and hydrocarbon base types. Ointments with variations in base types were observed for physicochemical properties including organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, pH and spreadability. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using One Way ANOVA. The results showed that variations in base type affected on organoleptic appearance, viscosity and spreadability but had no effect on the pH value and homogeneity.
