Furthermore. This study aimed to explore the cultural influence on language spoken within a specific area. The method used in this study was descriptive-qualitative in nature. It used two different versions of the same text. The textual analysis established, while taking into consideration the initial, preliminary and operational norms (taken from the peritexts), that majority of the translators and translation critics aligned with the target-oriented or acceptability paradigm and reflected as well as conformed to the secondary position of translation in literary (poly) systems of Pakistan. However, the study found that found that people usually share their culture with other while using language. Moreover, the two versions have specific terminologies representing same ideologies or concepts but they have different sentence constructions. The study was significant as it not only offers contextual information about the process of translation provided by the translators and critics but also because of being first of its kind in Pakistan.\u0000Keywords: Salome; compative translation analysis; poly-systemic approach; peri-textual feature\u0000

The analysis revealed a nuanced interplay between literal meaning and metaphorical expression, highlighting challenges in conveying cultural nuances. The Findings indicated that Mir’s translation adeptly preserves the essence of Iqbal’s profound themes—encompassing the quest for truth, the transcendent power of music, the soul’s significance, sacrifice, peace, and sincerity in prayer. By navigating linguistic complexities and cultural barriers, the translation succeeds in ensuring accessibility and cultural resonance for a wider audience, affirming Nida’s principles in maintaining fidelity to the original while adapting it to a different linguistic and cultural milieu.\u0000Keywords: Dynamic Translation; Nida’s Linguistic Model; Iqbal’s Poetry

The poem, published in 1633, presents a satirical examination of women's perceived infidelity, and Fairclough's model serves as a tool to unravel the complexities of its linguistic features, discursive practices, and socio-cultural implications. The analysis reveals anti-feministic undertones within the broader context, where societal norms and power dynamics played a crucial role in shaping discourse. By examining the poem through the three dimensions of Fairclough's model—text, discursive practice, and sociocultural practice—the research contributes to a deep understanding of how language choices perpetuate certain perceptions of women and contribute to broader societal narratives during this historical period.\u0000Keywords: Critical Discourse Analysis, Norman Fairclough’s Model, Go and Catch a Falling Star
