How does outward FDI reverse spillover technology to China, and does China’s innate endowment restrict it? The relevant mechanisms remain unclear. Therefore, this study investigated the heterogeneous effect of absorptive capacity on the impact path of reverse technology spillovers of outward FDI on green innovation in China. A fixed-effects panel model and stepwise regression analyze the direct relationship between outward FDI and green innovation and the mediating relationship of absorptive capacity. Threshold analysis reveals the mutation point of the mediating effect of absorptive capacity among China’s 31 provinces. Domestic green innovation is directly stimulated by more significant reverse technology spillovers of outward FDI. Absorptive capacity has an indirect impact as an intervening variable. The mediating effect will only make sense on one side of the threshold because the transformation effectiveness of green innovation is improved only by greater absorptive capacity, including adequate green financial support, more outstanding human capital, and a smaller technology gap. If properly designed, taxation policies can be mechanisms of promoting sustainable economic development and inclusive economic growth. However, the main issue of government authorities remains achieving tax compliance among taxpayers. The question of noncompliance intersects different fields from public finance, law, ethics, and its complexity presents a challenge for the society in general.\u0000This study aims to examine the influence of chosen economic and psychological determinants on tax compliance. In order to identify the determinants of taxpayers’ behaviour, a total of 862 questionnaires were administered and collected directly from Croatian taxpayers. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied to analyse the survey data. The results suggest that social norms and tax morale influence taxpayers’ compliance significantly.\u0000Overall, findings of this study contribute to the better understanding of tax compliance and its determinants in the context of a genuine paradigm shift in the field. Infrastructure is funded under various programs to contribute to economic growth, and reduce regional disparities. Evaluations of the results achieved have to be carried out to develop efficient infrastructure development and investment allocation policy. This is highlighted in both the reports of policymakers and scientific publications. The main limitation of these studies is that they focus on assessing the return on infrastructure development at the national level, leaving the question of what outcomes were achieved at the regional level. This article aims to evaluate the economic outcomes of transport and ICT infrastructure development at the NUTS 2 regional level in the EU-28 countries, using 2000–2019 data. The research is based on the neoclassical production function complementing it with an infrastructure indicator. Based on previous research, it is hypothesized that economic outcomes may depend on the institutional environment of the region. Consequently, the research model specification is supplemented by government quality as a possible moderator. Research findings suggest just motorway and internet infrastructure are significantly positively related to production outcomes. With the innovative breakthrough of information and communication technology, the digital and real economies are deeply integrated. The digital economy has become an important driving force for the transformation of economic momentum and development. Panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2010 to 2019 were selected for analysis. In the first stage, the study constructed the evaluation index system of digital economy development. Then, the quality development index of the digital economy is calculated by using the entropy method. Finally, the main factors of digital economy development are analysed by spatial measurement. We employ green inventions as the dependent variable and 5 indicators of sanctions (including unilateral, plurilateral, multilateral, economic, and intensity) as the main explanatory variables alternately. For further robustness tests, we use substitution variable green utility models, adopt sub-samples in different regions, change the empirical methodology, and add omitted variables. We also examine the mechanism effects of three possible channels. The conclusion is that plurilateral and economic sanctions both present significant negative impacts on green innovations, whereas China was not affected by unilateral or multilateral sanctions during the sample period. GDP, interpersonal globalization, and environment are proved to be the possible channels through which sanctions affect green innovations. The literature lacks comprehensive studies that show the impact of diverse types of factors on the course of green transformation. For this purpose, two perspectives of the research – economic and environmental – are usually taken into account. This paper also proposes to take social factors into account. The empirical verification was conducted using green growth indicators that are published by the OECD that were compared with factors identified from the literature review. Taxonomic (synthetic) measure of development applying the Weber median and correlation coefficient were used for searching for relationships between the identified groups of indicators described both the changes in the dimension of green growth (internal factors of green transformation) and changes in the dimension of contextual indicators (so-called external factors). The proposed way of combining the results obtained from these two methods of data analysis is also new to research in this field. Consumer preference analysis assists product managers to understand consumers’ propensity for different product attributes and make consumer-oriented market strategies. Existing studies on consumer preference analysis used simple additive algorithms to represent the relationship between overall ratings and attribute ratings, but ignored the interactions between attributes. In addition, not all attribute ratings were given by consumers when calculating the overall ratings of a product. To fill these gaps, a preference model based on the extended 2-additive Choquet integral is constructed. The 2-additive Choquet integral can reflect the importance of attributes and the interactions between pairs of attributes when integrating attribute ratings. In cases where consumers choose only a subset of product attributes to rate a product, we introduce the scale parameter into the 2-additive Choquet integral to characterize the relationship between different attribute subsets. Afterwards, a preference disaggregation paradigm based on nonlinear programming is provided to solve the preference model. Finally, the proposed method is validated by experimental analysis using the dataset collected from TripAdvisor.com. The article introduces and operationalises a new concept of technological maturity which reflects competitiveness, innovativeness, and market reputation of a company in a particular sector. To compare the technological maturity between cluster organisation members and non-members a composite index was created. The study is based on theoretical and empirical analyses. The empirical part is based on firm-level data collected in the survey from 464 companies identified in the technological fields covered by the National Smart Specializations in Poland. A set of statistical tests has been employed to assess whether (a) the indicators differ significantly between cluster organisation members and non-members (b) the composite index differs significantly between cluster organisation members and non-members. Results of the analysis show a positive relationship between being a member of the cluster organisation and the technological maturity of the company. The regression analysis proved that the relationship remains significant when controlling for the industry, geographical location, and size of a company.
