Freedom of expression on these platforms is becoming increasingly important, but also increasingly complex. Freedom of expression is a basic right of every individual which is included in Human Rights (HAM). However, this concept is not absolute and is always accompanied by certain responsibilities and obligations. Laws and statutory regulations stipulate that freedom of expression must be exercised by complying with ethical norms, laws, and other individual rights and freedoms. Freedom of expression also plays an important role in the world of the internet and social media. The internet has become a platform that allows individuals to express themselves without physical limitations, with almost limitless potential. Social media such as Instagram allows users to share creative content, in the form of photos, videos and text. However, users must use this freedom wisely and responsibly. They have complete control over their uploads, with a privacy settings feature that allows them to control who can access their content. Social media should not regulate individual ethics and behavior, but rather give individuals the right and obligation to use the platform wisely. Thus, freedom of expression on social media such as Instagram requires awareness of individual responsibility in carrying it out. By obeying the rules, norms and rights of other people, this freedom can be exercised well without harming anyone and still strengthening the social norms that apply in society.","PeriodicalId":512708,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Communication, and Broadcasting","volume":"108 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141714377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Broadcasters need to adopt new strategies in business models and monetization, such as combining subscriptions, individual purchases, data-driven advertising, as well as partnerships with large streaming platforms through a hybrid approach. Investing in producing unique and engaging original content is also critical to differentiate yourself from competitors and cater to diverse audience preferences by exploring new genres and formats. In terms of technological infrastructure, increasing network capacity, servers and hardware are needed to support high-quality streaming, as well as paying attention to security and redundancy to ensure continuity of operations. Moreover, data measurement and analytics are key by developing new, relevant metrics to measure content performance, understand consumer behavior and preferences, and optimize monetization strategies. Leveraging data also allows for better personalization of content according to viewers' individual interests. By adopting a comprehensive approach in all these aspects, broadcasters can adapt effectively and achieve long-term success in an increasingly competitive streaming era.","PeriodicalId":512708,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Communication, and Broadcasting","volume":"4 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141711799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we investigate the impact of the use of this technology in the broadcasting industry, with a focus on the analysis of demographic data, the use of recommendation algorithms, personalized interactions through AI technology, and optimization of broadcast time. Analysis of demographic data allows broadcasters to understand their audiences better, while the use of recommendation algorithms provides the opportunity to serve more personalized content to audiences, increasing engagement and interaction. The use of AI technology in audience interactions, such as chatbots and virtual assistants, also provides viewers with a more personalized experience, while optimizing broadcast time allows broadcasters to reach a wider audience and increase broadcast effectiveness. Although AI technology and big data analysis bring significant benefits, ethical challenges related to data privacy and security remain a major concern. By considering these challenges, broadcasters can leverage this technology effectively to improve content quality, increase engagement with audiences, and remain relevant in an ever-changing broadcast environment.","PeriodicalId":512708,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Communication, and Broadcasting","volume":"8 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141698781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Qualitative descriptive methods were used with in-depth analysis of field data. Data was obtained from interviews and observations of 18 families with socio-economic variations. The results show that family communication patterns play a central role in shaping children's emotional development. Authoritarian, permissive, and authoritative/democratic communication patterns were identified as the main patterns. Implementing democratic communication patterns has a positive impact on children's emotional development. Family understanding regarding the relationship between family communication and children's emotional development needs to be improved. The combination of Javanese and modern cultural values and religious life plays an important role in supporting children's emotional development. This research provides an in-depth view of communication patterns and their influence on children's emotional development in the context of Javanese culture. It is hoped that the implications of these findings will help families strengthen positive relationships and support children's emotional well-being in a rich and diverse cultural context. Media conglomerates often have great influence in the media industry, and migration policies such as these can affect the way information is delivered and accessed by the public. This research analyzes the tendency of media conglomerates to report information that suits their interests, their impact on society, and how they respond to digital migration policies. The political economy of communication theory, especially the concepts of commodification, spatialization, and structuration, is used to explain these dynamics. Some media conglomerates reject the migration policy, considering it a threat to their dominance in the media industry. However, migration policies also open up opportunities for new entrants in the broadcasting industry. In conclusion, it is important to understand how the dynamics of the political economy of the media influence media policies that affect society.","PeriodicalId":512708,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Communication, and Broadcasting","volume":"32 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140361598","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
