Under the background of construction of “New Liberal Arts”, this paper sets out to investigate teachers’ code-switching strategy in ESP (English for Special Purposes) teaching, especially in business English teaching classrooms. It is found that conscious and necessary code-switching in ESP teaching classrooms can make teaching more efficient, and its functions and positive effects on bilingual teaching should not be underestimated. It is hoped that this study can provide some suggestion to ESP teaching and help enhance an effective teaching mode by using code-switching strategy and suggest that teachers should be aware of this teaching tactic and use it technically in their teaching process. By analysing the current syllabus, curriculum, teaching objectives and contents, teaching methods and means, teaching evaluation and feedback, this paper finds that there are problems such as insufficient students’ interest in learning, teachers’ professional qualities and teaching abilities need to be improved, uneven distribution of educational resources, and high social and parental expectations of English education. Aiming at these problems, this paper puts forward countermeasure suggestions such as optimising curriculum and teaching content, improving teaching methods and means, improving teacher training and quality enhancement, strengthening the integration and distribution of educational resources, and adjusting social and parental expectations of education. Although there are different views on whether and how to teach Lu Xun's works in Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) teaching circles, the fact that Lu Xun's works are most frequently included in Chinese language textbooks is enough to emphasize his central position. From the perspective of sociolinguistics, this paper takes the epithets in Lu Xun's Blessing as the object of study, and employs exhaustive statistics and other research methods to systematically analyze the epithets in Blessing. It is found that Blessing contains 54 predicates, which are categorized into two major categories of locution and expressive function and seven subcategories of occupational title and honorific title on the basis of Li Mingjie's classification of predicates. From the study of the predicates in Blessing, we can see that they are characterized by the wide distribution and different colors of predicative elements, and the phenomenon of heteronymity and homonymity, and so on. The results show significant positive correlations among career decision self-efficacy, career preparation behavior, and career adaptation. Career decision self-efficacy significantly positively influences career preparation behavior, with the sub-factors of influence in descending order being problem-solving, future planning, and goal-setting. Self-evaluation and career information do not have a significant impact on career decision self-efficacy. Career decision self-efficacy also has a significant positive effect on career adaptation, with future planning and problem-solving having the highest influence. Self-evaluation, career information, and goal-setting do not significantly impact career adaptation. Career preparation behavior has a significant positive effect on career adaptation, with the sub-factors in descending order being information gathering behavior, goal achievement behavior, and tool preparation behavior. In the mediation test, career preparation behavior partially mediates the effects, mainly through problem-solving and future planning influencing information gathering and goal achievement behaviors, thereby enhancing students' interest in careers, self-behavioral control, curiosity about future developments, and confidence.
