Relevant literature is presented related to middle-level managers and their role in closing the research-to-practice gap. We additionally describe empirical examples from related fields and clinical examples from individuals who are conducting this work now in speech-language pathology.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 Although more research is needed, there is growing evidence that MMs have responsibilities beyond traditional supervisory roles. We argue that they may be key personnel to closing the research-to-practice gap by championing the implementation of evidence-based practice and, as such, we recommend further research and exploration of this innovative area.\u0000
