According to that shift, retail businesses are converting from traditional marketing practices to green marketing practices. In the Sri Lankan context. Most of the retail businesses are shifting to green practices. But customers' actual green purchase behaviors are very low level. This study was conducted to examine green attributes impact on customer loyalty towards ABC supermarket in the Colombo district. This study observes six independent variables such as green products, eco branding, eco-labeling, eco advertising, environment awareness, and green price and customer loyalty as the dependent variable. This study was conducted using a quantitative research approach and explanatory design. Therefore, the researcher used self-administered questionnaires to collect primary data. The questionnaire was disseminated among 384 ABC supermarket users under the convenience sampling method. In this study, Correlation and multiple linear regression analysis were employed to analyze the hypotheses. According to the result of this study, there is no significant influence of eco-labeling and eco-advertising on customer loyalty. The other five independent variables such as green products, eco branding, environment awareness, and green price are a significant influence on customer loyalty. Furthermore, the analysis identified some limitations in the research and gave recommendations to future researchers to generate a successful and accurate result of the study.","PeriodicalId":508757,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering and Management Research","volume":"130 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139170874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It employs advanced image processing techniques to detect, classify, and grade pests and diseases early in coconut palms. This allows for swift interventions and reduces the need for harsh chemical treatments, promoting eco-friendly farming practices. Furthermore, the study goes beyond pest control to evaluate optimal conditions for coconut growth, considering factors like soil quality, water availability, and climate. It empowers farmers with insights to maximize coconut palm yield. Additionally, the system incorporates a growth prediction component using historical data and machine learning, enabling farmers to plan and allocate resources effectively. By combining early pest detection, pest management, growth classification, and predictive analysis, this research offers a comprehensive strategy to enhance Sri Lanka's coconut quality for export. This approach not only improves product quality but also safeguards the industry's sustainability by reducing economic losses and ecological impact. Leveraging cutting-edge tools like image processing and machine learning, this research aims to boost efficiency, economic viability, and international competitiveness in Sri Lanka's coconut farming sector.","PeriodicalId":508757,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering and Management Research","volume":"114 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139309942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Initially, fresh Libas leaf extracts were drawn out in distilled water heated at 100°C for 30 minutes. 10, 20 and 30% maltodextrin was added to the solution prior to sieving. These solutions were then atomized in a pilot scale centrifugal spray dryer at an inlet temperature of 180°C, material cooling temperature of 70°C, fan operation frequency of 60 Hz, atomizer operation frequency of 300 Hz and mean outlet temperature of 125°C. Spray dried Libas leaf powder was analyzed for product yield, pH, moisture content, ash content and solubility time. The level of acceptability of the spray dried Libas leaf powder was also assessed in terms of appearance, taste, aroma, mouthfeel and overall acceptability using a 9-point hedonic scale conducted on thirty (30) sensory panelists. Findings of the study revealed that maltodextrin concentration significantly affected various physico-chemical, sensory and storage characteristics of spray dried Libas leaf powder. Product yield, solubility and residual moisture content were found to be significantly improved by an increase in maltodextrin concentration. However, it was also found that there is a decrease in the ash content and level of acceptability of the spray dried samples with an increase in maltodextrin concentration. Storage of the spray dried Libas leaf powder for six (6) months significantly affected pH and moisture content. No significant difference in sensory characteristics was detected among treatments indicating that powder quality is still acceptable during the six (6) months storage period.","PeriodicalId":508757,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Engineering and Management Research","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139310291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
