Given the diverse demographic affected by LBP, it is crucial to tailor rehabilitation strategies to address the distinct requirements of different patient groups and individuals. This analysis explores various methods of LBP rehabilitation, including categorized treatments and specific rehabilitation techniques, spanning from exercise and physical therapy to spinal manipulation and bracing.","PeriodicalId":507469,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140240107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One in three children suffers with type 1 diabetes (T1D), across the US and globally, the incidence of the disease is rising among the paediatrics by over 3% annually. The diagnosis of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) was based on the presence of hyperglycaemia (blood glucose > 11 mmol/L), acidosis (serum bicarbonate < 15 mmol/L) and ketonuria (urine ketone ≥1+). Gestational diabetes is a common abnormality of glucose metabolism during pregnancy which affects foetal development and an alteration in the balance of glucagon and insulin is affected due to an overproduction of glucose and ketones in the liver, with free release of fatty acids from adipose tissue. A case of 5 years old female child presented with increased urination, increased appetite and sudden weight loss since 1 month and her RBS range was found to be 426mg/dl. Child underwent laboratory investigations, GRBS monitoring every 3 and assessed as Diabetic ketoacidosis with uncontrolled sugars. The child was treated with insulin supplementation for 3 days, recovered and child was hemodynamically stable and got discharged.","PeriodicalId":507469,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140237653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The scheduled investigations were done to determine fitness for surgery. Patient was admitted one day prior to the procedure, and preanesthetic checkup was done. Hysterolaparoscopy was scheduled in preovulatory period between day 5 and day 10 of cycle and done under general anesthesia. Diagnostic laparoscopy was performed using a 30-degree deflection angle telescope powered with a fiber-optic cable for light source. Panoramic view of the abdomen was obtained a stepwise evaluation was made. Hysterolaproscopy may appear to be invasive, but is more beneficial, as diagnosis and therapeutic interventions can be done at the same sitting. Furthermore, it is possible to identify patients who will need ART at the earliest, thus expediting treatment. This helps in preventing further compromise in ovarian reserve and progression of disease and thus reducing financial burden to the couples.","PeriodicalId":507469,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140237749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In guttate psoriasis small, droplet shaped patches appears on arms, legs, scalp, torso. Most commonly seen in children and adolescents than adults. It was classically triggered by streptococcal infection (pharyngitis or perianal) and is not contagious (it cannot be transferred to others through skin-to-skin contact). Usually guttate psoriasis subsides within few weeks, after that there are several possible outcomes such as you may never develop it again, it may recur intermittently or may develop into chronic plaque psoriasis. It can be mild, moderate or severe. We came across a case of 12 year old male child presenting with complaints of annular plaques with itching since 5 days all over the body. Based on subjective, objective and laboratory investigations the child was diagnosed with Guttate psoriasis. And child was treated with topical steroids, immunosuppressants, antibiotic and anti ketogenic agents respectively and within 4 weeks the child was recovered.","PeriodicalId":507469,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140241145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
