It is mainly diagnosed during the perinatal and neonatal periods. A few cases have been reported in adults. The objective of this study was to report the case of a patient with an unrecognized MH, review the current literature on Morgani hernias in the adult population, and assess their clinical characteristics and therapeutic approach reported in adults. We here describe a rare case of a MH presenting with bowel obstruction as the primary symptom in adult life.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 A 52-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a bowel obstruction. The abdominal CT tomography showed an intestinal bowel obstruction above the hiatal hernia with an intrathoracic ascending colon. Exploratory laparotomy revealed a bilateral strangulated diaphragmatic hernia of Morgagni. The patient underwent closure of the diaphragmatic defect under tension by X-stitch. The recovery was uneventful, and the patient is in good health after 12 months of follow-up.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 The Morgagni hernias are usually asymptomatic; complications such as strangulation of the herniated colon or herniated stomach by stricture are exceptional. It was unveiled in 2017 and provides possibilities for both partial and full ectogenesis while sustaining fetal lambs with concepts like the biobag. Utilizing biobag artificial uteri, complete ectogenesis is the confinement of a woman’s pregnancy in an artificial womb from the inception of the embryonic stage to full gestation; while partial ectogenesis is the utilization of a biobag artificial uterus to continue gestation ex-utero. Ectogenesis may have advantages, but there are concerns about how it will affect children’s social and psychological development. It can benefit biological parenthood, newborn care, fetal therapy, maternal-fetal disputes, societal growth, reduce health risks, and alter cultural norms while promoting reproductive equity. Due to possible risks, rigorous research on human subjects is required before ectogenesis may be implemented. The paper seeks to provide a thorough study for society’s conversation and deliberation, examining its potential advantages as well as its technical, ethical, and regulatory elements.

The epidemiology of these diseases is influenced by climate change, inadequate vector control, and socioeconomic factors. Aedes mosquitoes are the primary vectors for dengue, while Anopheles mosquitoes transmit malaria. Vulnerable populations, including those in poverty-stricken areas, face higher risks. Prevention strategies encompass vector control, vaccinations, health education, and community engagement. Government initiatives emphasize healthcare infrastructure, community involvement, and inter-departmental coordination. However, challenges such as climate impact, urbanization, and public awareness gaps persist. Overcoming these challenges requires a multidimensional approach and sustained efforts to curb the spread of mosquito-borne diseases in Pakistan.
