This study examines whether scientific language adheres to standardized principles using a descriptive qualitative analysis. Information is gathered via the process of seeing, documenting, and analyzing. The data revealed that the syntactic errors include both errors in phrase structures and sentence fields. The phrase structure was misused in a total of 9 instances, with 5 mistakes involving inappropriate prepositions, 4 errors involving excessive or redundant elements, 4 errors involving double sharpening, 3 errors involving excessive superlative forms, and 1 error involving wrong arrangement. The sentence field had eight instances of phrase ambiguity errors, four faults involving foreign words, and two errors where predicates were placed incorrectly. The sentence field had a total of 8 instances of ambiguity errors, 4 instances of foreign word mistakes, and 2 instances of predicates-inserted-tear errors. Based on conversations with Indonesian language teachers and many grade IX students, the linguistic errors found in persuasive speech texts for SMP Negeri 1 Widodaren students cannot be attributed to a single reason. The mistakes are caused by internal variables, such as the mastery of the mother language and the correctness of the learner, as well as external ones, such as a lack of vocabulary, comprehension of effective sentences, reading motivation, and a bad class atmosphere.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":" 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140683973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rapid transformation in information technology has created opportunities to simplify bureaucratic processes through digitalization. This research analyses public services through digitalization and their potential in the future, comparing them with successful stories in South Korea. Through a comparative study, this study aims to identify best practices in overcoming the gaps and challenges in digitalizing public services. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting comprehensive literature review data, government reports, and other relevant secondary data. A comparative analysis of Korea's digitalization efforts was conducted to gain insight into potential lessons and best practices. The research results show that the digitalization of public services in Indonesia has large ambitions. However, it still needs to catch up to Korea regarding implementation strategies and the design of digital government principles. The research method applied involved content analysis of videos uploaded by Ustad Salafi, as well as interviews with viewers and followers. The use of Nvivo software makes it easier to code and analyze the collected data. The findings of this research indicate that Ustad Salafi seeks to promote messages of tolerance and peace, by mixing religious principles with the local cultural context. The messages of moderation conveyed through this digital platform have a significant impact in shaping religious discourse and supporting a more inclusive understanding of Islam, especially in the context of Indonesia's multicultural society. This research also highlights the complex dynamics between Ustad Salafi's online persona and the moderation messages he conveys. This shows the importance of understanding how digital media influences people's perceptions of religion and culture, as well as the complexity in the process of forming opinions and beliefs. Thus, this research makes a valuable contribution in understanding the role of digital media in influencing contemporary society's thinking and behavior regarding religious moderation.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":"13 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140746185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research utilizes a normative juridical approach, employing primary and secondary legal materials and combining statute and conceptual approaches. The analysis highlights gaps in the existing legal and policy frameworks that compromise patient rights, and the challenges healthcare providers face in maintaining medical record confidentiality and disclosure of information. These issues are further illuminated through a review of relevant academic literature, and corroborated by empirical evidence drawn from real-world case studies. Findings reveal a dichotomy between theoretical principles of patient rights and their practical implementation, accentuated by resource limitations, variations in law enforcement, and gaps in understanding among healthcare providers. The study concludes with recommendations for legal and policy reforms that can bridge these gaps, improve patient care, and strengthen trust in Indonesia's healthcare system. These reforms present both challenges and opportunities. While resource constraints and resistance to change may pose difficulties, the potential for improved patient care, enhanced public trust, and socio-economic development makes the pursuit of these reforms a necessary endeavour. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of patient rights protection and sets the stage for ongoing dialogue and action towards healthcare reform in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":"336 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140750095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to measure how effective the implementation of social media marketing activities is in building brand awareness, brand image, brand equity, and trust from private hospital patients and their influence on visit intention. This study uses quantitative methods, and the data obtained will be processed using CB-SEM with the IBM AMOS application, analyzing 264 questionnaire responses. The study results show that social media marketing activities affect brand awareness, brand image, and trust but do not affect visit intention. Meanwhile, trust and brand equity have a significant impact on visit intentions. However, brand awareness does not affect brand image, yet both significantly impact brand equity. This study shows that collaboration between variables is needed to impact patient visit intentions positively. It is hoped that this research can help the management of private hospitals and other health facilities in forming marketing strategies through social media activities.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":"369 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140749872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The context of this study lies in the complexity of global taxation and increasing concerns over tax avoidance practices that have prompted the need for a deeper understanding of the factors influencing corporate behavior in this regard. The research method employed involves the use of statistical regression to measure the relationship between these variables. The analysis results show that tunneling incentives have a significantly negative effect on tax avoidance practices, while thin capitalization and capital intensity significantly influence tax avoidance practices positively. Meanwhile, transfer pricing does not have a significant effect on tax avoidance practices. These findings suggest that tax avoidance practices tend to be carried out by companies employing thin capital structures and having significant business activities to invest their assets in fixed assets. In this context, the study provides valuable insights for regulators and practitioners in designing policies aimed at reducing tax avoidance practices. By understanding the factors influencing the company's decision in this regard, more effective prevention and control measures can be implemented. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the interaction between transfer pricing, tunneling incentives, thin capitalization, and capital intensity in the context of corporate tax avoidance to develop a holistic and effective policy approach.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":"55 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140747533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study explores various aspects of self-adjustment, including internal motivation, involvement in student activities, cultural adaptation skills, and the social support they receive. The research employs in-depth interviews and content analysis of data obtained from female Eastern Indonesian students who have relocated to the university. The findings reveal that internal motivation plays a significant role in encouraging Eastern Indonesian female students to migrate and actively participate in campus life. Involvement in student organizations with similar cultural backgrounds accelerates both academic and social adjustment. Adaptation skills in a cultural context, including the ability to adapt to new languages and cultures, enable students to build close social relationships and boost self-confidence. Social support from peers with similar cultural backgrounds also provides crucial assistance in overcoming challenges and difficulties in adaptation. However, the research also identifies several challenges, such as language and communication difficulties, as well as pressure to conform to group norms. The findings of this study can offer valuable insights for educational institutions and policymakers to develop more effective support programs for female students originating from Eastern Indonesia in the university environment.","PeriodicalId":504371,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Sociale","volume":"17 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140747490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
