It consists of evacuated tube collectors, an auxiliary heater, a storage tank, and a LiBr-water absorption chiller. The system is conducted hourly from April to September. Variables of generator temperature, storage tank volume, and solar collector area are considered for the investigation. An optimisation method is performed to find the optimum point from energetic, exergetic, and economic viewpoints. Mishra, Taraprasad Mohapatra","doi":"10.1504/ijex.2023.130943","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1504/ijex.2023.130943","url":null,"abstract":"A variable ratio compression ignition engine is tested experimentally for different fuel type (diesel, e-diesel and nano fuel), load (4 kg, 8 kg and 12 kg), and compression ratios (14, 16, and 18) to determine its performance (energy and exergy efficiency), emission (NOx emission), and economic characteristics (% relative cost).
