The BCS+QRPA technique plus the quasiparticle-phonon coupling scheme is used to describe the nuclear structure part of the calculations. In this method, the harmonic approximation with the renormalized phonons is used in which the phonons themselves are determined within the non-linear version of the model based on the random-phase approximation (RPA) and including both the RPA correlations and the beyond-RPA ones. The mean field and the residual interaction are derived within the framework of the self-consistent RPA from the energy-density functional of the Skyrme type. In this work, we analyze the relationship among the four neighboring nuclei based on the OES of nuclide chain with the same number of neutrons in atomic mass evaluation database (AME2016 database). Our purpose in this paper is to describe an empirical formula with one constant for OES of nuclear masses that can be useful in describing and predicting nuclear masses with mass number <span><math altimg=\"eq-00001.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mi>A</mi><mo>≥</mo><mn>1</mn><mn>0</mn><mn>0</mn></math></span><span></span>. With the empirical formula and AME2016 database, the root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) of the nuclei that we have successfully obtained 172<span><math altimg=\"eq-00002.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mspace width=\".17em\"></mspace></math></span><span></span>keV for <span><math altimg=\"eq-00003.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mi>A</mi><mo>≥</mo><mn>1</mn><mn>0</mn><mn>0</mn></math></span><span></span> (the RMSD is 140<span><math altimg=\"eq-00004.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mspace width=\".17em\"></mspace></math></span><span></span>keV for <span><math altimg=\"eq-00005.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mi>A</mi><mo>≥</mo><mn>1</mn><mn>5</mn><mn>8</mn></math></span><span></span>). The results show that the RMSD of nuclear masses for <span><math altimg=\"eq-00012.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mi>A</mi><mo>≥</mo><mn>1</mn><mn>0</mn><mn>0</mn></math></span><span></span> based on neural network approach 30<span><math altimg=\"eq-00013.gif\" display=\"inline\" overflow=\"scroll\"><mspace width=\".17em\"></mspace></math></span><span></span>keV decreases than that based on empirical formula (the accuracy is increased by about 17%).
