For this purpose, a 7-month incubation experiment and two-year pot experiments were conducted. The pattern of both experiments was analogous and included: soil without fertilization (C); soil fertilized with NPK mineral fertilizers (MF); soil with NPK + 3 or 6% lignite (MF+CW3%, MF+CW6%) and 3% zeolite-carbon composite (NaX-C); soil with NPK + 3 or 6% leonardite (MF+CL3%, MF+CL6%) and 3% zeolite-carbon composite (NaX-C). The test plant in the pot experiment was the Kosynier variety of maize. The soil material was used to estimate the abundance of general bacteria, mold fungi, actinomycetes (actinomycetales), ammonification bacteria and bacteria from the Azotobacter genus. The study found that the application of lignite and leonardite combined with a NaXC composite had generally contributed to a significant increase in the total nitrogen content and a decrease in the total carbon content in soil in the pot experiment. In general, the mineral-organic mixtures had a stimulating effect on the analyzed groups of soil microorganisms in both experiments, but the dominant groups in the pot experiment were total bacteria and ammonifying bacteria, while in the incubation experiment, fungi and actinomycetes were the prevalent groups. An RDA analysis indicated that mold fungi, bacteria, actino-mycetes and amminofers were positively correlated with the EC, total nitrogen and carbon.","PeriodicalId":50212,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135721633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Low yields harvested in Kilis in recent years from the Rumi grape variety, which has high economic value, encouraged this study aiming to identify the cause. There is no fertilization in the vineyards submitted to the study, so the search for the reason for low yields was referred to the soil nutrient content. For this purpose, soil samples were taken from the soil in the vineyards at a depth of 0-30 cm. It was determined that the soil reaction varied from 7.19 to 8.34, 16.2% of the examined soils were neutral, and 83.8% were slightly alkaline. As regards the soil texture, 27% of the soils were loamy, 51% were clay loam, and 22% were textured clay. Although the lime content varied from 0.85% to 46.21%, 24.32% of the soil samples were found to be low calcareous, 16.21% were calcareous, 16.21% were found moderately calcareous, 24.32% were high in calcium and 18.91% were very highly calcareous. The organic matter content of the examined soils was determined at the lowest 0.62% and the highest 3.40%, with 5.40% of soils having very low, 35.13% – low, 51.35% – moderate and 8.10% – high organic matter content. The phosphorus content ranged from 1.04 kg da -1 to 6.86 kg da -1 , and 29.72% of the soil were found contain very small, 67.56% – small, and 2.70% – moderate amounts of phosphorus. The potassium content ranged from 31.85 to 164 kg da -1 , and it was found that 5.40% of the soils had sufficient K content and 94.59% had high K content. Signifi - cant relationships have been found between the physical and chemical properties of the soil. As a result of the study, it is recommended to apply farm manure or green fertilization in vine-yards where vineyard soils are ideal in terms of texture but organic matter deficiency is deter - mined, and phosphorous fertilization is recommended in the presence of high pH and high lime content. The current fertility of the soil should be maintained and improved over the years.","PeriodicalId":50212,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135721634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, it has more recently been studied for its phytoremediation potential to remove and detoxify environmental contaminants. Copper is a heavy metal that can be toxic to plants. In recent years, flax has begun to be used as a phytoremediation tool for phytoextraction of different heavy metals, especially when grown in metal-contaminated soils. The objective of the study was to conduct the efficiency of flax as a phytoremediation plant grown on the soil contaminated with different doses of copper (Cu) (control, 100 and 200 mg L -1 ) metal. The results revealed that a high concentrations of Cu in the soil negatively affected plant growth and development by reducing plant height (30.17-22.33 cm), technical stem length (25.83-18.33 cm) and root length (7.50-4.00 cm) compared with the control (30.17-25.17 cm). The content of Cu in the leaves, stems and roots of flax cultivars was higher at 200 mg L -1 Cu concentration in the Mures and Erkendorfi cultivars. In addition, the two Cu concentrations (100 and 200 mg L -1 ) were highly destructive to the plant, according to the SEM images, and the maximum stem damage was reported. Thus, the soil Cu content should be carefully controlled in order to avoid adverse effects on plant growth and development. Consequently, future research is needed for gaining better understanding of the physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, and molecular biology of flax in order to increase its pollutant removal efficiency.","PeriodicalId":50212,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135866383","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of mercury in fish tissue, both freshwater and marine, is the effect of its accumulation in the aquatic environment and depends largely on the concentration of mercury in water as well as food. Most of mercury in fish tissues is present in the form of organic complexes, mainly methylmer - cury, which is much more toxic than metallic mercury. In organisms of predatory fish, such as shark, tuna, swordfish, or eel, mercury will be present in concentrations higher than in other species of fish. It is not just the result of their nutrition, but is also related to their age, mobility and habitat. In fish living near the bot - tom of a water body, the concentration of mercury will be much higher. It has to be noted that the ongoing climate change and increase in environmental contamination may significantly raise the bioavailability of mercury and its organic complexes in","PeriodicalId":50212,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Elementology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135866381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
