Family members need to be prepared and supported to undertake this role.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Aim</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The aim was to develop psychosocial interventions to ease the burden of family caregivers of mental healthcare users.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Method</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Using convenience sampling, 21 stakeholders were selected. The participants had at least 2 years' experience and/or expertise in the care of family members of mental healthcare users. During a workshop, a nominal group technique was used to collect data. The six steps of Braun and Clarke guided the data analysis.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Three themes were identified, namely, interventions to provide mental health education, interventions to promote social support for families and interventions to ensure effective psychological support for families and mental healthcare users.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Discussion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The nominal group technique allowed healthcare and community stakeholders to become aware of their role in supporting family caregivers of mental healthcare users. Activities of daily living (ADL) scales, widely used in geriatrics and rehabilitation, are increasingly relevant for psychiatric patients to assess both physical and behavioural dependencies. Despite their integration into French psychiatric practices, their usage remains underexplored in large-scale studies.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Objective</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This study aims to evaluate and describe the dependency levels among adults hospitalised for psychiatric care in France between 2013 and 2022, leveraging medico-administrative data from the French National Health Data System (SNDS).</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>We conducted a retrospective cohort study using SNDS data, analysing ADL scores collected during psychiatric admissions. Dependency levels were categorized into six levels based on established criteria, with specific focus on physical (e.g., mobility, continence) and relational dimensions (e.g., behavioural interactions). Descriptive statistics and trends were analysed over time. The study adheres to the STROBE checklist for cohort studies.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>A significant heterogeneity in dependency levels was observed, highlighting distinct profiles based on patient demographics, psychiatric diagnoses and care settings. A sample of 170 participants completed a self-administered online questionnaire. Variables included sociodemographic characteristics, mediators of mourning and continuing bonds measured by the Continuing Bonds Scale. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient were performed.&lt;/p&gt;\u0000 &lt;/section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;h3&gt; Results&lt;/h3&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;p&gt;Factor analysis confirmed the distribution of items into two factors: internalised and externalised continuing bonds. The total variance explained was 53.03%. Confirmatory factor analysis supported the two-factor solution. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient indicated good internal consistency (&lt;i&gt;α&lt;/i&gt; = 0.898).&lt;/p&gt;\u0000 &lt;/section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;h3&gt; Discussion&lt;/h3&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;p&gt;The results suggest that the Continuing Bonds Scale is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring the ongoing internal relationship between the bereaved person and the deceased in bereaved Costa Rican men, allowing for appropriate research and clinical use.&lt;/p&gt;\u0000 &lt;/section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;h3&gt; Implications&lt;/h3&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;p&gt;Mental health nurses can utilise the Continuing Bonds Scale to assess men's continuing bonds expressions and develop individualised care plans to support their adaptation to loss.&lt;/p&gt;\u0000 &lt;/section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;section&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;h3&gt; Relevance Statement&lt;/h3&gt;\u0000 \u0000 &lt;p&gt;Given the frequent interaction between mental health nurses and bereaved individuals, the availability of contextually appropriate instruments is essential for improving professional practice. The Continuing Bonds Scale can enhance the effectiveness of mental health interventions by clarifying the real needs of bereaved individuals from diverse societies and cultures. Furthermore, NANDA-I has proposed diagnoses on adaptive and maladaptive grieving. These diagnoses align with recent perspectives that integrate the natural occurrence of continuing bonds into the grieving process. Furthermore, no studies have specifically examined this issue within the context of acute psychiatric settings in Türkiye.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Aim</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This qualitative study aimed to explore psychiatric patients' perceptions and experiences of compassionate care.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Method</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Fourteen phenomenological, semi-structured interviews were conducted with psychiatric patients between October 2024 and February 2025.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The data were analysed using Colaizzi's seven-step descriptive analysis method, revealing five key themes: (Bond et al. 2022) Compassionate Care, (Bond et al. 2024) Non-Compassionate Care, (Brown et al. 2014) The Healing Power of Compassion, (Camenzuli-Chetcuti and Haslam 2021) Perceptions of Compassionate Care Barriers and (Creswell 2012) Suggestions for Improvement.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Discussion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>As reported by participants, compassionate care primarily includes therapeutic communication skills and a responsive, attentive approach to patients' needs. In contrast, non-compassionate care is characterised by ineffective communication, as well as practices such as coercive treatment and the use of restraints. The findings suggest that compassionate care plays a crucial role in facilitating the recovery process of psychiatric patients. Absence of compassion, on the other hand, can prevent effective communication, exacerbate psychiatric symptoms, delay treatment adherence and ultimately worsen patient prognosis.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Implications for Practice</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Psychiatric nurses should be provided with continuous professional development opportunities designed to enhance their understanding of compassionate care and cultivate the skills necessary for effective delivery. In this process, family life and interpersonal relationships may deteriorate, and stigmatisation may be observed. Learning about the feelings, experiences, and needs of families after the diagnosis of FEP will help in coping with the disease and in predicting its prognosis.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Aim</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This study aimed to determine the experiences and needs of family members after a diagnosis of FEP.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This qualitative study was conducted with first-degree relatives of individuals diagnosed with FEP who the psychiatry outpatient clinic of a hospital in Turkey followed up. The sample of the study consisted of 17 participants. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect the data. N-Vivo12 program with thematic analysis method was used for data analysis and COREQ checklist was used for reporting.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>It was found that 64.7% of the participants were in the role of mother, 64.7% were primary school/middle school graduates, and 29.4% had quit their jobs due to their caregiving role. As a result of the interviews, 4 main themes and 13 sub-themes were identified. The main themes are as follows: not knowing/not realising, mixed feelings, changing lives and need for help.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Discussion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Interventions are needed to increase community mental health literacy and reduce stigmatising attitudes. The study sample consisted of 28 psychiatric nurses who agreed to participate in the research between April and October 2024, who had completed or were currently pursuing their master's or doctoral education. Data were collected through individual face-to-face/online meetings (via Google Meets application) with psychiatric nurses. Audio recordings were taken during the interviews. The audio recordings were transcribed verbatim and content analysis was performed.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>In this study, psychiatric nurses' perspectives regarding AI applications in care support were categorised under five themes: (1) Limitations of artificial intelligence in meeting patient needs, (2) Enhancing psychiatric nursing care support, (3) Future Perspectives on enhancing psychosocial care, (4) The challenging path of integration into education and care, (5) Uncertainty, unknowns, risks and concerns.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This study reveals psychiatric nurses' insights regarding the potential of AI, particularly in terms of developing psychosocial care, and their predictions about challenges that may be encountered in this process. As a non-pharmacological intervention, Horticulture Therapy (HCT) can be viewed as a supportive approach to psychiatric treatments, aiming to enhance both physical and mental health.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Method</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The study utilised a randomised controlled trial research design. A study and control group of 60 patients with a psychotic disorder was established. The research took place at El-Ma'mora Hospital for Psychiatric Medicine, Alexandria, Egypt.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Findings</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The IG exhibited significantly higher HHI scores compared to the CG, highlighting a notable improvement in hope among those who participated in the intervention. Regarding the Psychological Wellbeing Scale (PWBS), the IG scored significantly higher than the CG, indicating enhanced autonomy in the intervention group. This trend underscores the escalating importance of addressing violence in mental health settings.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Aim</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This study aims to demonstrate the quantitative and qualitative features of violence publications in the field of psychiatric nursing from a bibliometric perspective. Web of Science was used during the research.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This study employed bibliometric analysis, a methodological approach for delineating the scope of information and assessing productivity within a specific domain. The data were searched with the keyword combination ‘violence and psychiatric nursing’, including studies published until December 2024, the study date, without a time limit.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>In this study, 464 violence research/reviews in the field of nursing were identified between 2001 and 2025, and the research was completed with 438 violence studies in line with the exclusion criteria. 1493 authors wrote 390 research and 48 review/systematic review articles, with an average of 22.14 citations for each publication. Most were published in 2024.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Discussion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>There is an apparent increase in the involvement of psychiatric nurses in studies pertaining to violence.
